| In recent years,with the rapid development of tourism industry and the continuous upgrading of enterprises,the post functions of tourism enterprises have changed a lot,the requirements for enterprise employees are getting higher and higher,and the difficulty of work is also increasing.However,some secondary vocational schools still adopt traditional curriculum,and the teaching content is not updated timely,which makes the graduates of tour guide service be unable to adapt to the relevant work of tourism very well.At the same time,the tourism enterprises also have the problem of service quality decline because they can not recruit excellent tour guides.All these reflect the problems existing in the training of tour guides in our country.For secondary vocational schools,the key to improve the quality of students training is to build a scientific and reasonable curriculum system for tour guide service,only in this way can more excellent tour guide talents be trained for the tourism industry.The professional competence of tour guides is a summary of the ability that excellent tour guides should possess.Therefore,this paper discusses the relevant problems of the curriculum of tour guide service in Vocational schools and universities from the perspective of professional competence,and provides theoretical guidance for the cultivation of industry talents.First,through the reading of relevant literature,the author studies the relevant concepts and theories of competence,tour guide,curriculum setting,etc.Then,based on the iceberg model and onion model,the author conducts research through three channels to extract the elements of tour guide competence from different angles.Through the network investigation on the recruitment information of tour guides in recruitment websites such as Zhilian,qianchengwuyou and 58 Tongcheng,9 competency factors are obtained;16 elements of competency are obtained through interviews with tour guides of travel agencies;14competency elements of tour guides are obtained by sorting out relevant documents.Finally,through induction,combination and arrangement,16 elements of the competency model of tour guides(professional knowledge,professional skills,problem solving ability,communication ability,expression ability,learning and innovation ability,strategic decision-making consciousness,marketing ability,organization and coordination ability,love post dedication,dedication spirit,moral quality,physical and mental quality,personality characteristics,appearance and appearance)are obtained.Here,16 elements of the competency model of tour guide are obtained.On the basis of the analysis,16 elements of tour guide competence are divided into three levels: knowledge and skills,professional ability and personal characteristics,finally,the competency model of tour guides is constructed.Secondly,based on the competency model of tour guides,the questionnaire of curriculum setting of tour guide service specialty in vocational school is compiled to investigate the training status of the curriculum setting of this major for students’ tour guide competence.Through the method of questionnaire survey,the paper gives questionnaires to teachers and students of tour guide service specialty in vocational school to study the current situation and existing problems of the curriculum setting of the major;through the analysis and arrangement of the questionnaire,it is found that the curriculum setting of tour guide service specialty in vocational school has some problems such as the curriculum objective is vague,the content of the course is old,and the curriculum evaluation is not perfect.Finally,according to the survey results,the author puts forward suggestions to optimize the curriculum setting of tour guide service specialty in vocational school from four aspects:curriculum objectives,curriculum content,curriculum implementation and curriculum evaluation.This paper constructs the competency model of tour guides through the extraction and induction of the three channels of tour guide competency elements,enriches the relevant research of the competency model of tour guides,which is of guiding significance for the training and selection of tour guide talents.The research on curriculum setting based on the competency model of tour guides is conducive to the improvement of the curriculum setting of tour guide service specialty in vocational schools,improving the quality of the training of tour guides and conveying excellent talents for the industry. |
