Since Ausubel proposed the "first organizer" strategy,many educators and researchers have started to apply and explore,and the effectiveness of this strategy has also been proven in practice.The "advanced organizer" strategy emphasizes the establishment of a connection between old and new knowledge,and helps students acquire new knowledge by mobilizing their original knowledge.Many empirical studies use it to improve students’ Chinese reading comprehension ability.Reading teaching is an important content in Chinese teaching.Through reading,students with intellectual disabilities can not only strengthen the learning of Chinese characters,but also promote the development of students’ language expression and socialization.However,there are still many problems in Chinese reading teaching in Peizhi School.Teachers pay insufficient attention to students’ reading comprehension ability and ignore the connection between students’ new and old knowledge.Therefore,the author tries to explore the application process of the "advanced organizer" strategy in the Chinese reading teaching of Schools with mentally retarded,so as to improve the reading comprehension ability of the intellectually disabled students.Based on a full understanding of the "advanced organizer" strategy and the characteristics of Chinese reading teaching in Schools with mentally retarded,this study uses action research to explore the implementation effect of the "advanced organizer" strategy in the seventh grade Chinese reading teaching of Schools with mentally retarded.The entire implementation process is divided into four stages,namely planning,implementation,observation,and reflection.In the course of action,the teaching content is continuously adjusted,the problems that arise,and the final implementation plan is practical and operable.Based on the above research,the author finds that the "advance organizer" strategy is an effective strategy to improve the reading comprehension ability of students with mild intellectual disabilities;it is an effective way for teachers to carry out Chinese reading teaching;and then concludes that the "advance organizer" strategy is applied to the training schools The implementation path of Chinese reading teaching,and teaching suggestions are put forward:(1)Strengthen the application of the "advance organizer" strategy in the Chinese reading teaching of Schools with mentally retarded;(2)In-depth analysis of academic conditions and clear teaching objectives;(3)Select appropriate Reading materials,analyzing the reading materials;(4)Receiving learning and discovering learning are organically combined.
