Research On The Influencing Factors Of Career Women’s Fertility Intention Under The“Universal Two-Child Policy”

The universal two-child policy has been implemented since January1,2016,and its implementation effect will have an important impact on the stability of China’s future population structure.Employees of state-owned enterprises have relatively stable working and living environment,and their fertility willingness is relatively stable compared with other groups.The investigation and analysis of this female group’s fertility willingness after the implementation of the two-child policy can not only test the implementation effect of the policy,but also provide certain reference for the government to formulate measures.After the opening of the two-child policy,there are few comprehensive studies on the fertility intention of professional women in China,and even fewer studies on the fertility intention of state-owned enterprises.Therefore,this paper has certain theoretical significance and reference value.Taking female employees of a large state-owned enterprise in Shanghai as the research object,this paper mainly analyzes the female fertility intention of enterprises with the help of planned behavior theory model.In order to ensure the accuracy and representativeness of the data,the survey samples were mainly selected by random sampling.A total of617 questionnaires were issued and 617 questionnaires were recovered,with a recovery rate of 100%,among which 596 were valid questionnaires.SPSS software was used to analyze the data,and stepwise multiple regression model was adopted to explain the direction and effect of different factors on fertility intention.The results of empirical analysis show that among the career women’s fertility attitudes,the fertility benefit motive has a positive effect on fertility intention.Among the subjective norms,peer norms and superior norms have positive effects on fertility intention.In perceptual behavioral control,the perception of external constraints has a positive impact on fertility intention.In addition,some individual characteristics have significant influence on the fertility intention of the second child.In order to improve the fertility intention of the second child,the following measures should be taken,including: establishing relevant laws and regulations,improving social insurance policies;Reform the reward and assistance policy of family planning and design the reward and assistance scheme;Optimize the allocation of medical resources and pay attention to women’s physical and mental health;Establish a public childcare service system to ease work-family role conflicts.It has certain reference significance for improving the fertility level of second child and formulating corresponding policies.
