| In recent years,with the vigorous development of China’s economy and the improvement of China’s international status,more and more people begin to learn Chinese and understand Chinese culture at the same time.Especially South Korea and China,because of their geographical proximity to each other,and because of the fact that both countries have been under Confucian culture in history,the economic and cultural exchange between China and South Korea is increasing day by day.However,due to the differences in history and environment between the two countries,there are obvious cultural differences in the values and customs between the people of the two countries.These differences have caused great trouble for Korean people living in China or Chinese people living in Korea.At the same time,it has also caused cross-cultural communication obstacles for the growing number of international Chinese and Korean families.Nowadays,with the unrivaled enthusiasm for Chinese language,more and more young children begin to learn Chinese.While they learn Chinese language,they can understand more about Chinese culture simultaneously.This is a wonderful way to spread Chinese culture and Chinese language.Children are the future of every family,society,and country.It is needless to say that every government administration opts for children-oriented policy for their future.So it is very important to cultivate healthy successors for our future by understanding parents’ role in children education properly.Parents’ role is the first teacher of their children,and parents’ behavior directly affects the growth of children.It can be concluded that the importance of parents’ parenting concept.Through literature research,questionnaire survey and interview,this paper compares and analyzes the similarities and differences of parenting views between Chinese and Korean parents,and puts forward suggestions on parenting between China and Korea under the cross-cultural communication. |
