Research On The Impact Of Artificial Intelligence On China’s Labor Structure

The previous technological revolutions have had a profound impact on human employment,which in turn caused changes in the structure of the labor force.As a breakthrough in technology,artificial intelligence will also have a major impact on the structure of the workforce.Based on Marx’s related theories,this paper analyzes the impact mechanism of artificial intelligence on my country’s labor structure from the perspective of the labor structure of China’s industry and labor skill structure,and conducts an empirical test of its specific impact,and proposes policy recommendations based on the conclusions of the research.Through combing the relevant domestic and foreign literature,based on the research foundation of the predecessors,choose to study from the perspective of labor force distribution and labor skills in the industry,and elaborated Marx’s theory of machine production and the theory of organic composition of capital as this research.After that,it analyzes the development status of artificial intelligence and labor structure in my country.The results found that the research level of my country’s industrial intelligence has improved,but there is a gap in high-precision research with developed countries;my country’s artificial intelligence industry is developing well,but there is a phenomenon of unbalanced development;my country’s artificial intelligence is used in many fields,but There are difficulties in the application process;my country’s unemployment and population aging problems are serious;the distribution of labor in the industry is gradually shifting to the tertiary industry,but the distribution among industries is uneven;the demand for the skill level of labor in my country has increased.There is a relatively large shortage of highly qualified talent.Combining the previous analysis,starting from the labor structure of my country’s industry and the skill structure of my country’s labor force,discuss the impact of artificial intelligence on my country’s labor force structure.The specific impact is: artificial intelligence has caused a huge impact on the employment of traditional industries,and at the same time it will empower the development of traditional industries to make up for certain jobs;Artificial intelligence is drawing new professions that coincide with its application to promote the development of high-tech industries;with the continuous development of artificial intelligence,the requirements for labor skills have increased,and low-skilled workers engaged in low-end production have been replaced by a large number of workers;there are existing replacements for middle-skilled workers The effect also has a creative effect.The creative effect is reflected in the increased demand for middle-skilled workers as the market’s demand for non-productive workers increases;the development of artificial intelligence will increase the demand for high-level workers.Select the provincial panel data from 2010 to 2019,and use the PVAR model and the provincial fixed effects model to conduct empirical analysis.The results show that the use of artificial intelligence in China has had a continuing negative impact on the employment of traditional industries.It had a great impact in the first period,and it rebounded after the second period,and then fluctuated slightly,and remained after the fifth period.The small decline has always remained at a negative level as a whole;the use of artificial intelligence has a continuous positive impact on the number of employment in China’s emerging industries,which caused a great promotion effect in the early stage,and then fell slightly in the second period.,To maintain a continuous upward trend after the fifth period;the use of artificial intelligence has increased the requirements for the skill level of the labor force,and the use of artificial intelligence is closely related to the upgrading of the skill structure,and the change in the proportion of low-skilled labor The significant negative impact has a significant positive impact on the change in the proportion of middle-and high-skilled labor force employment.In response to the research results,policy recommendations are made.my country needs to increase research on the basic theories of AI,promote the process of intelligent industrialization,empower the transformation of traditional industries,promote the development of emerging industries,and promote labor employment;cultivate high-skilled talents suitable for the intelligent era to fill the gap of high-skilled talents.
