| Artificial intelligence has become the most core driving force in the new scientific and technological revolution,and is the product of the combination of the fourth round of scientific and technological revolution and innovation-driven strategy.The development of artificial intelligence technology has greatly changed the way of people’s production and life.Artificial intelligence has a huge and far-reaching influence on traditional society,for the development of human economy provides more opportunities,challenges and value creation,derived a series of new demand and industry,new kinetic energy and new model,but also caused the labor market changes,not only can cause employment changes,but also can cause the profound change of labor employment skills structure.The 14 th Five-Year Plan for 2020 calls for "doing everything possible to stabilize and expand employment".Artificial intelligence is one of the important supporting forces to promote high-quality economic development of China’s economy and achieve common prosperity,which can,to a certain extent,relieve the current severe employment pressure in China.Therefore,we should timely pay attention to the impact of artificial intelligence on the overall employment skill structure of the labor force in China and different regions,and conduct theoretical analysis and empirical research,which is conducive to make reasonable expectations,promote the government to formulate relevant coping strategies,and ensure the smooth transition of the employment skill structure of China’s labor force.This paper discusses the influence of artificial intelligence on the employment skill structure of Chinese labor force.The research context is as follows: First,in the artificial intelligence and employment skills structure research literature,on the basis of research,combing and using technology-economic paradigm theory,capital organic composition theory,screening theory,labor market segmentation theory,put forward the artificial intelligence on labor employment skills structure theory mechanism,the study found that the substitution effect of artificial intelligence and creation effect,also through the transmission mechanism of total factor productivity of labor employment skills structure indirect influence,make our labor employment skills structure presents the characteristics of "employment upgrading".Secondly,from different perspectives,the development status of artificial intelligence technology and labor employment skill structure in China is analyzed.Through the descriptive analysis of the development of AI technology in China,it can be seen that the investment in fixed assets,Artificial Intelligence and AI research and development personnel are basically increasing year by year,but there are obvious differences among various provinces,which are extremely unbalanced.According to the descriptive analysis of our labor employment skills structure can be found that the employment proportion of low skilled labor in most provinces across the country,skilled labor,highly skilled labor employment of rising,labor employment skills structure shows the characteristics of employment upgrading,but there is a great imbalance between the provinces.Third,choose the 2007-2020 provincial panel data,on the basis of the fixed effect model empirical test,analyzes the artificial intelligence in our country and different labor employment skills in the overall structure effect,the conclusion is as follows: on the one hand,the development of artificial intelligence technology will significantly negative influence the employment of China’s low skill labor,at the same time,for skilled labor,high skilled labor employment has significant positive impact,makes the labor employment skills structure overall employment upgrading situation.On the other hand,from a regional perspective,the development of artificial intelligence technology will make the employment skill structure of the labor force in the eastern and western regions of China show a significant trend of employment upgrading,and make the employment skill structure of the labor force in the central region show a single polarization trend of employment,but the overall situation is not obvious.Finally,based on the research conclusion,the paper puts forward the following countermeasures and suggestions: optimize the higher education system,make the reasonable allocation of educational resources,strengthen the employment skills training;improve the employment security mechanism,promote the smooth transfer of employment skills structure of labor force;promote the equalization of public services among regions,and narrow the difference of labor skills in different regions of China. |
