Since the 21st century,the rapid development of information technology has also promoted the profound changes of modern teaching and learning methods,and the integration of information technology and middle school curriculum teaching is one of the important trends of today’s education and teaching development.As a key course of basic education,mathematics teaching in junior high school is faced with many knowledge points,abstract and complex content,and other problems,which makes it difficult for students to accept and understand quickly and accurately.In view of the more abstract and complex problems in junior middle school mathematics,it is of great significance to change teachers’ teaching methods and students’ learning methods by means of information technology.GeoGebra is a "dynamic mathematics software for teaching and learning".The introduction of the software into junior high school mathematics teaching can express some abstract problems of mathematical knowledge more intuitively and clearly,and help students understand and master the relevant knowledge,improve students’ interest and improve the quality of teaching.The research work of this paper is mainly reflected in the following aspects:This paper collects and sorts out the abundant literature about GeoGebra at home and abroad,and discusses its application and research status.In view of the current situation that foreign educators widely use GeoGebra in teaching,but less involved in China,the author thinks it is necessary to carry out in-depth discussion.Through the investigation on the use of GeoGebra by the front-line junior high school mathematics teachers in my area,it is found that mathematics teachers in junior high school are less involved in GeoGebra software.So it is necessary to explore a new teaching mode based on GeoGebra,provide an innovative solution to solve mathematical abstract problems and improve teaching quality,and provide teaching reference for the front-line teachers.Based on the research on the content and characteristics of junior high school mathematics curriculum of Beijing Normal University Press,combined with the students’ learning situation and the experience of front-line teaching,this paper discusses the important role and application strategy of GeoGebra in junior high school mathematics.According to the "standard" divided into four parts: number and algebra,graphics and geometry,statistics and probability,synthesis and practice,the content suitable for GeoGebra teaching is determined.Based on Constructivism and Mathematics Teaching Theory,the teaching design is carried out.Two parallel classes are selected as experimental class and control class to carry out junior high school mathematics classroom teaching practice based on GeoGebra.The pre-test and post test scores and classroom performance of the two classes were analyzed,and the satisfaction survey and interviews were conducted among the students in the experimental class.Practice shows that the use of GeoGebra teaching in junior high school mathematics classroom can improve students’ interest in learning,and has achieved good results.In the process of practice,the author has established a limited resource library of GeoGebra teaching.The research shows that GeoGebra can improve students’ interest in learning mathematics,and help to cultivate students’ thinking,and effectively improve the mathematics performance of the class,which has a certain reference value and significance for junior high school mathematics teaching.
