In order to improve the quality of running a kindergarten,a team of teachers with strong professional quality is indispensable,and the research quality of kindergarten teachers is one of the most important qualities in professional quality,it is very important to improve the research literacy of kindergarten teachers.Only with high research quality can the kindergarten teachers find out the educational problems,study the educational phenomena and solve the educational problems in their work,so as to promote the connotation development of the kindergarten and improve the level of running the kindergarten.In this study,350 teachers from 20 public kindergartens in Chongqing were investigated by questionnaire,this paper investigates the current situation and problems of kindergarten teachers research literacy from four aspects of research consciousness,research knowledge,research ability and research morality.On the basis of the questionnaire,this study conducted attributional analysis of the existing problems through interviews with 3 kindergarten principals,3 teachers and 2 teachers.The results show that the research literacy of kindergarten teachers as a whole is slightly above the average level,but the level of research literacy in various dimensions is not balanced.In the dimension of research consciousness,kindergarten teachers’ research initiative and the consciousness of writing and publishing papers are relatively lacking;Kindergarten teachers have relatively poor knowledge of research procedure,research methods and thesis writing,and their ability of data analysis is relatively weak in research ability.There are significant differences among kindergarten teachers with different grades,professional titles and teaching years,including the lower level of kindergarten teachers and the lower level of high-teaching-age kindergarten teachers The research accomplishment of kindergarten teachers with low professional title is relatively low.Based on the analysis of the existing problems and causes,this paper puts forward some strategies to improve the research literacy of kindergarten teachers from the perspective of kindergarten managers.Aiming at the problems existing in the dimension of consciousness,we can solve them by guiding kindergarten teachers to understand educational research correctly,overcome difficulties and love educational research.Aiming at the problems of research knowledge and ability,we can solve it by cultivating problem consciousness,organizing study and training,increasing the chance of practice and exploration.Aiming at the problems caused by the grade of running a kindergarten,the length of teaching and the title of a post,we can solve them by doing a good job of positive guidance,optimizing the mode of personnel training,and perfecting the evaluation system of teaching and scientific research.
