Investigation And Research On The Present Situation Of Extra-curricular Education Investment Of Primary School Students In First-tier Cities

The development of the times cannot be separated from talents,and the selection of talents is paid more and more attention by schools and families.The proportion of education expenditure in total household expenditure also increases with the change of parents’ group consciousness.The diversification of educational and the individualization of educational content and the generalization of educational institution are all the trends of social development at present.The age of students participating in training decreases,and the time of participating in extracurricular training increases with age.More and more families from the first grade of children and even kindergarten,uninterrupted extracurricular investment.Extracurricular education,as a remedy for school education,is regarded by most parents and students as from education with schools.The survey and interview of the students and parents of three primary schools in Shanghai,the researchers understand the present situation of the students’ extracurricular tutoring and explore the influencing factors.In combination with the interview,from three aspects of the time,economy and energy invested in extracurricular education,the study found that in economic investment,parents put in high economic costs,the number of classes,and the existence of blind comparison psychology;investment,parents and students put in along time,but the way of investment is relatively single;energy investment,their emotional and energy input is more blind,energy input is difficult to measure,energy input preferences are different.The study discusses the reasons why primary school students participate in extracurricular education in first-tier cities from the perspective of society,family and school,and analyzes the present situation of extracurricular education investment in primary school students in first-tier cities with the results of the survey.
