| Career is of great significance in the development of one’s life,it can help one to improve his personality and realize the life value.High school students are in the exploration period of their careers,and they are also in the important stage of the development of individual self-consciousness.This study takes the career maturity of high school students as the breakthrough point,and hopes to investigate the status quo of high school students’ career maturity,explore the development characteristics of career maturity,and puts forward suggestions and countermeasures,so as to provide theoretical basis for the career planning and career guidance of high school students.This study adopts the method of questionnaire survey to test high school students of grade one and grade two in Lanzhou.This study is divided into four parts: first,analysis of the status of high school students’ career maturity;second,cluster analysis of the types of high school students’ career maturity;third,canonical correlation analysis of high school students’ career maturity and self-concept;fourth,follow-up study of the relationship between career maturity and self-concept of high school students.Based on the above the studies,the results are as following;(1)The overall development level of high school students’ career maturity is low and is not optimistic,and there are significant differences in gender,grade,grades,number of friends,and relationship with parents.(2)The career maturity of high school students is divided into two types: immature and mature,and they are reasonable.Among them,the immature accounted for a relatively high proportion,and the overall situation is not optimistic.(3)After half a year,the career maturity of high school students has improved greatly compared with the first time.Through two binary logistic regression analysis,it can be seen that the only child,grade,grades,and left-behind experience are the key factors that ultimately affect career maturity,whether the only child has a relatively stable impact on the career maturity of high school students.(4)There is a significant and canonical correlation between high school students’ career maturity and self-concept.The result of the variation explanation ratio of the two data shows that the career maturity of high school students has a greater impact on self-concept.(5)There is a significant positive correlation between high school students’ career maturity and self-concept.Cross-lag regression analysis shows that career maturity can predict self-concept,that is,career maturity is the independent variable and self-concept is the dependent variable. |
