Psychological Dilemma And Social Work Intervention Of Postgraduates In Employment

Since 2000,the graduate enrollment plan has been increasing year by year,and the number of graduate students in the university is getting larger and larger.Some people choose to study in a graduate school out of personal interest,and more people hope to find an ideal career after graduation.However,with the economic and social transformation,the employment competition is increasingly fierce,most of the graduate students can not find their own satisfactory occupation.Graduate students are full of confusion about their future career,which ultimately affects their employment psychology.On the one hand,these psychology affect the yearning for a better future life,on the other hand,it also affects the physical and mental health of students.University A is A 211 university with thousands of postgraduate students.Among them,S College has more than 150 graduate students.As the major direction of the School is humanities and social sciences,the employment of graduate students is more obviously affected by economic and social development.In recent years,there is a certain gap between the graduate students’ employment expectation and the final employment position,which greatly affects the graduate students’ employment psychology.Therefore,it is typical to choose the graduate students of this school as the research sample.For the graduate student’s employment psychology,this paper,from the perspective of the related concepts and theories,research graduate employment situation and psychological performance,on the basis of investigating A university S school of master graduate student,through questionnaire and interview,the graduate student’s psychological condition,and analyze the causes of psychological dilemma,points out that the social reason is the main cause of psychological insecurity;A sense of uncertainty caused by the government’s policies;School programs are inadequate to cope with changes in the job market and family anxiety about employment expectations.In the face of these problems,social work intervention can be used to provide psychological help for college students in difficulties.On the basis of studying the psychological dilemma of graduate students’ employment,this paper points out that to solve their psychological problems through social work on the one hand,and on the other hand,it points out that to solve the practical problems in employment,it is necessary to increase the employability of college students,and to carry out assistance to college students in difficulties through social forces.
