| At present,the community management system in China is rapidly transforming.The new community management system encourages multiple subjects to participate,and advocate to form the relationship between the various subjects.Clan organization,as a special kinship organization in China,plays a positive role in the rural community management in the new era.As another participant,social work institutions could integrate resources with local self-organization in rural communities to achieve the their development and management.Some research show that there is a possibility of mutual learning between clan organizations and social work institutions in managing community.This paper mainly takes Z town of Zhejiang Province as the research sample.Z town is a clan community while y clan is playing a positive role in community management,although it has limited function.The professionality and working methods of social work institutions can make up for the shortage of clan organizations,which means that they are complementary.First,social work institution has the professional methods to cultivate and develop clan organizations grow it up and make up for their deficiencies.Therefore social work institution and clan organizations are complementary in abilities.Secondly,social work institutions can make up for the areas that clan organizations cannot involve,so they are complementary in contents.Thirdly,because of the high status of clan organizations in rural communities,clan organizations can help social work institutions better integrate into local resource,so they are complementary in intergrating resources.This paper studies the ways and functions of clan organizations and social work institutions in rural community management,hoping to improves the orderly participation of clan organizations in community management and improves the level of rural community management. |
