Poverty alleviation through education is the main way to get rid of poverty.By2020,my country has achieved the goal of building a well-off society in an all-round way.However,rural education is still a shortcoming in social development.On April 1,2015,the 11 th meeting of the Central Deep Restructuring Group reviewed and approved the Rural Teacher Support Plan(2015-2020).The convening of this conference is of historic significance for achieving the equalization of education,consolidating the achievements of poverty alleviation after the completion of a well-off society in 2020,and achieving decisive progress in rural revitalization by 2035.Poverty alleviation through education is a concrete action to transform poverty alleviation from "blood transfusion" to "blood-making" poverty alleviation,and it is the fundamental means to solve the problem of poverty alleviation in rural areas.Yangshan County is one of the 21 key counties for poverty alleviation and development in Guangdong Province.Based on this,this article takes the research of rural education poverty alleviation path in Yangshan County as the breakthrough point,adopts literature research method,field survey method,comprehensive analysis method,and combines basic theories such as education fairness theory,poverty intergenerational transmission theory,human capital theory,etc.From the perspective of combining with practice,a comprehensive and in-depth analysis and research on the development process,achievements,existing difficulties and reasons of rural education poverty alleviation in Yangshan County have been carried out,and corresponding solutions and suggestions have been put forward.Educational poverty alleviation work has certain reference value and guiding significance.First,since the start of the fight against poverty,the achievements of rural education in poverty alleviation in Yangshan County.The first is to increase support for poor students in terms of capital investment.Ensure the implementation of funding policies by accurately identifying funding targets and publicizing funding policies.The second is to increase the implementation of the nutrition improvement plan for rural compulsory education students.Through the transformation of rural school cafeterias and the increase in student meal subsidies,the quality of school meals for poor rural students has been greatly improved,and the student nutrition improvement plan has achieved full coverage of all poor rural areas in Yangshan County.The third is to continue to improve the conditions for running schools in poverty-stricken areas.The government has been increasing its funding for rural education,trying to ensure sufficient funding to narrow the gap between urban and rural education resources.The fourth is to increase the training of teachers in poverty-stricken areas.The local government uses the teaching resources of key urban schools to train the vast number of rural teachers to continuously promote the overall development of rural basic education.The fifth is to increase the coverage of rural vocational education.As far as the current situation is concerned,poverty alleviation through education has become an important way to fight poverty in Yangshan County,cultivating a large number of rural talents,boosting the development of rural adult education,and promoting the smooth progress of targeted poverty alleviation.Second,there are problems in rural education poverty alleviation in Yangshan County.One is the lack of educational resources and the uneven distribution of teaching resources.For example,the education infrastructure in the vast rural areas is weak,teaching facilities and equipment are in short supply,and there is a serious shortage of facilities such as arts and sports equipment,laboratories,teacher-student activity rooms,and teacher offices.In addition,many rural schools in Yangshan County have a small area,lack of electronic teaching equipment,and the number of books in the reading room is relatively small.Second,the extensive participation of the subjects of education poverty alleviation needs to be enhanced.The participation of social forces is not high,and the enthusiasm of the masses for education and poverty alleviation is insufficient.Some parents in rural areas think that reading is useless,and the lack of educational resources in rural areas has resulted in few children jumping out of the farm.The essence of this is that because the local people are backward in thinking,spiritual poverty has occurred,and the poorer the poorer they are.Pay attention to education,the less you pay attention to education,the poorer you will be.The third is the lack of scientificity in assistance.The decision-making of precision education for poverty alleviation is restricted by various external factors,and there are certain errors in the implementation of precision education for poverty alleviation.Third,there are three reasons for the problems in rural education poverty alleviation in Yangshan County: First,the government does not support the education poverty alleviation work in place.Yangshan County’s education funds have been insufficiently invested,and due to the imbalance in the distribution of resources between urban and rural areas,rural education has received far less education funds than county towns,and the gap in education resources between urban and rural areas is too large.The second is the low level of regional economic development and the uneven development of compulsory education in urban and rural areas.Due to the lack of adequate funding guarantees in rural areas,the development of rural education can only rely on local finances,but local finances are limited and cannot afford huge education funds,especially the financial burden for compulsory education,resulting in poverty in rural education resources and compulsory education in urban and rural areas.unbalanced development.Third,the number of teachers is insufficient and the quality is not high.Educational funds in rural areas are limited and the conditions for running schools are poor.It is difficult to attract a sufficient number of teachers to teach in rural areas,and the number of teachers has always been insufficient.Because there are few teachers in rural areas,the threshold for recruiting teachers is relatively low,and the level of recruited teachers is uneven.A considerable number of teachers are mostly "not used" in teaching posts.Subjects do not correspond to each other,and the quality of the teaching team is difficult to guarantee.Based on the survey of some rural households in Yangshan County,this paper proposes a path to supplement education shortcomings and promote precise poverty alleviation.The first is to improve the guarantee system for poverty alleviation through education.Strengthen the linkage between relevant departments at all levels,establish a joint meeting system for education development departments,regularly study and deploy major issues in the development of the county’s education,review relevant policies and measures and overall development plans for education poverty alleviation,organize and promote education poverty alleviation work and Strengthen supervision and guidance,coordinate and solve the practical difficulties and problems in the development of education,and accelerate the steady,healthy and sustainable development of education for poverty alleviation.At the same time,optimize the allocation of educational resources and focus on supervision and assessment.In order to improve its education status,in addition to formulating a complete teacher appointment system,it is also necessary to achieve a high degree of teacher resource sharing,establish mutual aid units with resource-rich urban schools,and regularly send key teachers to teach in rural schools.The second is to optimize the allocation of special funds for education.By further improving the efficiency of the use of special funds,strictly controlling the use of targeted poverty alleviation projects and funds,and fully implementing the special fund guarantee mechanism for compulsory education,ensure that the special funds for targeted poverty alleviation are used well and in place.The third is to innovate propaganda methods to promote the change of the concept of the poor.Education for poverty alleviation requires the participation of the whole society.It is necessary to increase the attention of the whole society,expand propaganda methods,and improve the pertinence of propaganda;it is necessary to encourage social forces to participate in the education and poverty alleviation work,and change the conservative thinking of the masses,and abandon the thinking of "reading is useless".The fourth is to promote the development of vocational education.We must always persist in running schools facing the society,increase the openness of vocational education,and optimize the vocational education system;people’s governments at all levels should actively take the responsibility to promote the establishment and improvement of the vertical connection and horizontal connection system of rural vocational education;attention must be paid to direct training of farmers The construction of the education system in the country actively changes the concept of vocational education.
