| Nowadays,after-school institution plays an enormous role in quality education in China.The emergence of training institutions can be supplement of school education as well as boosting the diversification of education.Admittedly,teachers in private training institutions,as an important part of the teacher team,have received widespread attention,while novice teachers as the fresh blood of the training teacher team,shoulder more important responsibilities.Therefore,it may be the key to stimulate and enhance the vitality of private education to pay attention to and understand the living status and professional development level of novice teachers.In this paper,we first produce questionnaire and outline of interviews based on related literature,professional development standards,the individual needs of teachers and teacher professional development requirements.Respondents are teachers from educational training institutions in various regions of Changsha.A total of 347 questionnaires have been received,and eight representative teachers have been selected for in-depth interviews.Through the investigation on the material life,professional identity,interpersonal feelings and professional development of novice teachers,it is found that there are the following problems imperfect welfare,low professional identity,widespread negative psychology,and unbalanced professional development.Combined with in-depth interviews and further analysis,it is found that the profit-seeking neglect of people-oriented institutions,backward management mode,single assessment and promotion channels,low social status and low personal adaptability are the causes of these problems.Integrated the above conclusions,this article from the individual teachers,educational training institutions and society three angles show some improvements and strategies to promote the survival present situation and the professional development about novice teachers in private training institutions,promote the level of novice teachers as well as the steady development of individual teachers in private institutions,and find reality for private education and complementary to the mainstream education benign path. |
