Empirical Study On The Construction Of Student Cadre Management System In Private Universities Based On Competency Model

Private colleges and universities are an important part of higher education in C hina.Most of the student cadres in private colleges and universities have active thinking,strong plasticity and strong sense of self-superiority,but they lack the ability to deal with the world,dare to innovate,bear hardships and stand hard work.Strengthening the research on student cadres in non-governmental colleges and universities not only supplements the existing management of student cadres in universities and enlarges the theoretical extension,but also establishes a reference standard for the use of other non-governmental colleges and universities through the application of Sunshine College and empirical research.We should innovate the management methods and modes o f student cadres to provide young cadres for the country.Firstly,based on Mc C lelland’s competency model theory,this paper uses behavioral event interview method and questionnaire survey method to collect and analyze data,and concludes that there are eight competencies,including executive ability,innovation ability,learning ability,communication ability,organizational management ability,decision-making ability,affinity,resilience and so on.The competency model of student cadres in private universities.Secondly,on the basis of the competency model of student cadres in private colleges and universities,the selection and training program of student cadres in private colleges and universities is formulated and implemented.After a one-year study,it is concluded that the management mode of student cadres in private universities based on competency model is superior to that of ordinary private universities.
