Exploration Of Core Competence Training Model For Medical Social Workers

The tense doctor-patient relationship and the promotion of medical reform provide opportunities for the development of medical social work in the initial stage in China,but also set an even higher demand on medical social workers.On one hand,medical social workers have gradually become an important role in the interdisciplinary team cooperation mode in medical field.On the other hand,the cooperation with the interdisciplinary team of high-end team is not only a rare opportunity but also a severe challenge to the ability of medical social workers.It is particularly important to clarify the core competence and training mode of medical social workers,so as to give full play to the work value of social workers in medical services And stable medical social workers.The focus of this paper is to explore the training mode of the core competence of medical social workers.On the basis of literature review,we understand the global positioning of the core competence framework of medical social workers.Based on the previous relevant data of organization C,we conducted questionnaire survey,group focus and training evaluation feedback,and sorted out the 10 core competence indicators required by the work of organization C,in which include 1)humanistic ideas,2)professional ethics and values,3)understanding and performing professional roles and responsibilities,4)improving professional ability independently,5)receiving regular formal supervision,6)being familiar with medical and health system,welfare policies and laws and regulations,7)integrated professional practice skills,8)interdisciplinary communication,coordination and cooperation,9)team organization and leadership,10)Conflict response and crisis management.Based on the core competence and training mode of medical social workers,this paper proves that the core competence is the foundation of the professionalization and professional training of medical social workers,and the training mode around the core competence framework tells direction for assessment and self-improvement of medical social workers,so as to promote the professional needs and professional development of medical social work.The formation of the core competence framework of local medical social workers has certain value and significance for the education,practice,deepening,standardization,professionalization and professional development of medical social workers in China.On the basis of refining and reviewing the process monitoring and results application,this study looks forward to further revision and supplement in the future research.This study takes the medical social work team of organization C as the research object,butfails to verify the universality of the research results.The author hopes to further verify the training mode of the core competence framework of medical social work in the future,which can provide some reference or thinking for future research,It is believed that the future research will strengthen the refinement and deepening of the research on the core competence training mode of medical social workers,and provide guidance for the future research in other sub fields of social work.
