| In China’s higher education,MOOC had experienced more than 10 years,and the total number of courses and the scale of the students involving learning both had been greatly developed.However,MOOC was still in the stage of development in China,especially for vocational students,the use of MOOC should be improved.In order to greatly promote the information construction of education and the development of MOOC,it is very important to understand the factors that affect the behavior of higher vocational college students to select and use MOOC so that more vocational college students choose to use MOOC resources and the quality of MOOC teaching resources play a greater role.Based on the technology acceptance model and the learning condition theory,this research taken the computer major as an example to study the influencing factors of the behavior of higher vocational college students to select and use MOOC in China.The results would provide the theoretical and practical basis for solving the problems of low completion rate and high dropout rate in MOOC development.The main work of this research was as follows:(1)This research summarized the research on MOOC influencing factors at home and abroad and revealed the internal and external factors that affected the learners MOOC using behavior on basis of technology acceptance model theory and learning condition theory.Then,each influencing factor was defined and the possible relations between each factor were analyzed.Total of 13 research hypotheses were brought and the research model of“Influencing factors of selecting and using MOOC behavior of vocational college students”was constructed.(2)Based on the well-established theoretical model and the understanding of various factors,a questionnaire with clear measurement dimensions on influencing factors of vocational college students’ selecting and using MOOC behavior was developed with help of the existing maturity scale.A formal questionnaire survey was conducted among the students majoring in computer science in higher vocational colleges,and 425 valid questionnaires were collected.(3)SPSS22.0 statistical analysis software was used for descriptive statistical analysis,reliability analysis,validity analysis,and AMOS24.0 software for confirmatory factor analysis,fitness analysis and path analysis.The research models and assumptions were validated by survey data.(4)Based on the results of data analysis,this thesis summarized the influence of various factors and supplied some relevant suggestions on promoting the use of MOOC for higher vocational students from the Higher Vocational Colleges,MOOC platform and MOOC curriculum.The results of this research revealed the main factors affecting the selecting and using MOOC behavior of the students in higher vocational colleges in China from the quantitative and qualitative perspectives,including intention of use,perceived usefulness,learning attitude,perceived ease of use,subjective norms,intrinsic motivation,MOOC content quality and MOOC platform quality.Of them,intention of use and perceived ease of use had direct positive effects on use behavior,but perceived usefulness,learning attitude,subjective norms,intrinsic motivation,the quality of MOOC content and the quality of MOOC platform had indirect effects on the use behavior.The results of this study would provide theoretical and practical support for solving the problems of low completion rate and high dropout rate in MOOC development.It also played roles in the sustainable development of MOOC in higher vocational colleges. |
