Research On Home-based Elderly Care In Urbancommunities From The Perspective Of Social Work ——Taking The X Community In Hohhot As An Example

Since the reform and opening up,my country’s economy and society have developed rapidly,and people’s quality of life has been continuously improved.At the same time,the degree of population aging has further deepened,and it has shown obvious trends such as a large base of the elderly population,rapid growth,aging,disability,and empty nesting.Combined with my country’s national conditions of getting old before getting rich and the structure of family miniaturization,the problem of old-age care is more serious.In the face of the increasingly severe and unavoidable problem of aging,the traditional methods of family care and institutional care in the past,affected by traditional cultural factors,slow institutional development and immaturity and other factors,have been unable to meet the increasingly personalized and diversified contemporary elderly.pension needs.Among the many old-age care models actively explored and practiced by all parties,community-based home-based care,which integrates the advantages of home-based care and institutional care,stands out,and has gradually become a research hotspot and a mainstream old-age care model.Based on the perspective of social work and guided by the hierarchy of needs theory and social support theory,this paper takes the X community in Hohhot City as an example,and adopts the intervention method of case study to discuss the problem of home-based elderly care service mode in urban communities.With the help of research methods such as participant observation and household interviews,the basic situation of the X community,the situation of pension needs and the existing deficiencies at the current stage are investigated and analyzed.This study preliminarily believes that with the development of society and the gradual improvement of the economic situation of the elderly,the needs of the elderly for medical health,emotion,cultural entertainment,and social interaction are becoming more and more personalized and diversified.However,due to the gradual weakening of family support functions,changes in social awareness,and the immature development of communities and social organizations,it is difficult to meet the growing individualized and diversified needs of the elderly.Based on the above status quo and problems,combined with the actual situation of the X community and the specific needs of the elderly in the community and the problems existing in the elderly care service,this paper explores and summarizes the feasibility,necessity and specific and feasible service channels of social work intervention in urban home-based elderly care.It is believed that social and social work has unique professional advantages,methods and concepts in serving the home-based elderly care in urban communities.The professional intervention of social work can meet the needs of the elderly,enhance the social support of the elderly,and improve the overall quality of community home-based elderly care services.After reflecting and summarizing the advantages and disadvantages of intervention,it provides practical experience for social work to intervene in community home-based care services.This thesis consists of an introduction,three chapters and a conclusion.The introduction part includes the research background and research significance of this paper.It discusses on the basis of combing the literature,and then expounds the theoretical tools used in this paper and the main research methods of the paper.The main body consists of three chapters.The first chapter is that the author expounds and analyzes the current situation and needs of home-based care in the x community in Hohhot through investigation and research;the second chapter is based on the previous investigation and research,and then discusses the involvement of social work in community care The practical feasibility and necessity;the third chapter is the specific intervention of the social work in the community and the reflection on the intervention.The last part of the thesis is the summary part.The author summarizes the whole paper,reflects on the inadequacies of this paper and expounds the prospect of the future.
