Action Research On The Development Of Behavioral Habits Of The Students In Lower Elementary Grades From The Perspective Of Home-school Collaboration ——Take Beijing A Primary School As An Example

In recent years,it is widely believed that the behavioral habits a person develops from childhood have a profound impact on his or her development throughout life.It is well known that students in elementary school are not yet mature,and their behaviors and ways of thinking are not yet fully set.The students in the early elementary grades are young,they like to imitate and have not yet developed habits with distinct personal characteristics.Therefore,the lower elementary grade is a golden period for the development of behavioral habits.Cultivating behavioral habits of the students in lower elementary grades is not only the responsibility for the school side,it requires the cooperation of many parties,especially parents,in order to better promote the development of students’ behavioral habits.Therefore,teachers should provide parents with advice on how to cultivate their students’ behavior at home,in addition to cultivating their students’ behavior at school.With the collaboration of home and school,we can jointly promote the development of good behavioral habits of students.In this study,Beijing A Primary School was used as the research field,and the first grade class B was selected to conduct an action research on the development of behavioral habits.The data were collected through observation and interviews at the beginning of the study,and then the data were organized and analyzed.After the analysis,the researcher looked for problems in the development of behavioral habits of the students in lower elementary grades in four aspects: hygiene,labor,civilization,and eating habits.The researcher analyzed the causes of the problems in terms of individual,family,school,teacher,social and peer factors,and then developed the action plan for this study.In each action research,there are three parts: "making a plan,implementing the plan,and reflecting",and at the end of each stage of implementation,the researcher will reflect on the effectiveness of the plan and the problems in order to develop the next action plan.Finally,this action research is divided into 3 stages,the program is as follows: the first stage,refine the rules,help the students to do good jobs in the early childhood and primary school,the initial development of behavioral habits;the second stage,activities to strengthen the training of behavioral habits,to guide parents to effectively help their children to develop good behavioral habits;the third stage,independent management,play the roles of home-school cooperation in the development of good behavioral habits of the students.By training students’ behavioral habits in the study,the researcher tried to explore countermeasures for the development of students’ good behavioral habits.After three rounds of action research,the students were basically able to develop good behavioral habits of hygiene,labor,civilization and eating under the home-school collaboration,which paved the way for their future elementary school career.In addition,the researcher also presented four educational cases from four perspectives of hygiene,labor,civilization,and eating,which provide references for suggesting effective strategies.After sorting and analyzing,the researcher came to the following research conclusions:the use of refined rules,environmental decoration,activities,and game competitions can effectively promote the development of good behavioral habits;good home-school collaboration helps promote the development of behavioral habits;for the development of students’ behavioral habits,teachers should grasp repeatedly and persistently,praise and issue rewards in time,and give the students the opportunity to demonstrate,which can help strengthen the development of habits.Based on the above findings,the researcher made some reference suggestions for schools,teachers,parents,communities,and home-school collaboration.It is hoped that all parties will work together to contribute more to the education of behavior habits of the students in lower elementary grades,so that good behavior habits will accompany the students throughout their lives.
