As a systematic engineering, Education needs cooperation between family, school and society. Specific to early education, Close cooperation between family and school can play their own advantage, build a fine and stereoscopic cultivation environment, so as to promote children’s full and healthy growth. Habits formation is the foundation of individual’s healthy and lifelong development, the guarantee of social harmonious. Family and school are the places that influence individual’s permanent development, through cooperation to form force of education, so as to jointly promote the student good habits. Therefore, home-school cooperation is inevitable choice of students’ habits formation. Lower Grade Students of Elementary School are in the critical period of habits formation, fully develop home-school cooperation to promote habits formation has special significance and irreplaceable role.The home-school cooperation has extensive theoretical basis, the Social Capital Theory, System Ecological Theory, the theories of enveloping and so on. To promote the effect of home-school cooperation, these principles, including the subjectivity, self-performance, equality and double winning should be observed.On the basis of these research achievements, this study takes A primary school in Shanghai for example, do the research on home-school cooperation promoting habits formation of lower grade students of elementary school. The research systematically analyzes the education target of "learning to be, learning to do, learning to learn" and the specific, operational education content. Then, this paper proposes the home-school cooperative mode which takes the home school agreement as the breakthrough point, the multiple evaluations as the main channel, the parent’s participation and parent’s education as the wings. This mode penetrates habits formation into every corner of home and school education, expands the path of habits formation, and improves the feasibility and operability of it. It should be pointed out that exploration through home-school cooperation to promote habits is not mature. Although there is some experience, so many problems exist. Objectively present experiences and shortages, can not only provide relevant practice, but also rationally analyze the existing problems. This has important significance to related theory and practice research.
