As is known to all,the rapid development of the current society has no longer limited to one aspect of talent requirements,but needs to have comprehensive quality of talent,forward higher requirements for students as talent reserve army.Competency-based education emphasizes the development of students’ ability as the focus,based on the ability necessary for a specific job,training students’ comprehensive quality,"ability" is also the focus of vocational education.As a compulsory skill course for tourism majors in secondary vocational schools,"Simulated Tour Guide" aims at improving students’ service ability and quality as tour guides in the future.This study takes the teaching situation of "Simulated Tour Guide" in L School in Guiyang as the entry point,adopts case study,questionnaire survey,interview and other methods to conduct empirical research,and uses Excel and SPSS to sort out and analyze the obtained data and materials.First of all,through the investigation and analysis of the teaching status of "Simulated Tour guide",it is found that the main problems are: students’ low interest in learning;Teaching objectives are not clear;Less teaching practice;Unitary teaching methods and evaluation.Secondly,the teaching characteristics of competency-based teaching "Simulated Tour Guide" are analyzed.Finally,from the perspective of competency-based,the reform strategy is put forward from the teaching objectives,teaching methods,practical activities and evaluation system of the course,including: clear teaching objectives;Carry out diversified practice teaching activities;In the competency-based perspective,improve teaching methods and means;Professional competence-oriented diversified curriculum evaluation system;Give full play to the role of teachers and enhance their skills so as to make the teaching of "Simulated Tour Guide" for secondary vocational tourism specialty adapt to the development of the new era. |
