Composition teaching is the key and difficult part of Chinese teaching in middle and high grades in primary schools,but in teaching practice,the current situation of composition teaching is not optimistic.Students do not want to write,nor do they know how to write.Some teachers are helpless.Although they keep trying to improve students’ writing skills,the results are not always satisfactory.After years of practice and exploration,the majority of Chinese teachers have explored the way to improve reading and writing efficiency by promoting reading with writing,and combine writing with reading.This method is feasible and efficient.However,teachers put most of their energy on the connection between modern reading and writing,yet ignore the important teaching resource of ancient poetry.In fact,ancient poetry and prose embodies the wisdom of ancient Chinese literati and writers.It has rich humanistic materials and meticulous writing logic.Whether it is its conception,structure,or exquisite and beautiful language,it is a rare model and valuable resource for students to study,such as digging it deeply,studying it carefully,and transferring it.Students will benefit greatly.This thesis is to explore how to improve students’ writing ability in the teaching of ancient poetry.The main body of this thesis is divided into five parts,which follow the thinking logic of "proposing problems,analyzing problems,and solving problems".The first part analyzes and discusses the relevant theories of ancient poetry and prose teaching,and defines the relevant concepts.The second part,by means of questionnaires,investigates and analyzes the composition teaching and learning of primary school Chinese teachers and students.Therefore,it is found that there are six major problems in the teaching of assignments: lack of interest,narrow thinking,lack of true feelings,loose structure,thin content and plain language,and then analyze the reasons for these problems.In the third part,through in-depth research on the primary school Chinese textbooks compiled by the Ministry of Education,through research and induction,it analyzes the feasibility of ancient poetry teaching to improve students’ writing ability in middle and high grades of primary school.In the fourth part,six targeted suggestions are put forward for the teaching of ancient poetry and prose to improve students’ writing ability in the middle and high school grades of primary school,namely: reading ancient poetry and prose to promote writing,cultivate interest in writing;prose and literary context to create a writing situation;comprehend the ancient poetry and art,learn the method of writing;integrate ancient poetry resources,accumulate materials for writing;taste the language of ancient poetry and improve the level of writing.The fifth part,starting from the practical level,takes the poem“Early Spring in the Capital: To Zhang Ji” as an example,according to the strategies mentioned in the fourth part,carries out the specific implementation exploration of ancient poetry teaching to improve students’ writing ability,and understands it in the process of practice.From a practical point of view,this thesis combines the teaching of ancient poetry and prose with the teaching of assignments,so that students can deeply understand the available resources in ancient poetry and prose,and transfer the essence to their own assignments.Based on data,this thesis analyzes the existing teaching problems,in order to provide ideas and methods that can be used for reference in the teaching of Chinese writing in the middle and high grades of primary schools.
