The "Sinogram-based" theory takes Chinese characters as the basic structural unit of Chinese, and effectively uses the characteristics of "character" and "meaning" of Chinese characters. In the teaching process, the "Sinogram-based" theory is used to enable students to master more words derived from the characters on the basis of understanding the sounds and meanings of Chinese characters.By using them in the communication process to improve students' communicative ability and Chinese level. The author found in teaching practice that most of the Chinese language teaching courses in Estonia focus on listening and speaking ability but neglects reading and writing ability.Even for students who have studied Chinese for several years, the Chinese language level is still in its infancy.Students have a low level of recognition and reading of Chinese characters, their abilities are poor, their learning progress is slow, and their learning effect is not high. The research purpose of this article is to apply the "Word-based" concept to the practice of Chinese teaching in Estonia,to make a teaching design guided by the "Sinogram-based" concept for the textbook "Happy Chinese",and to demonstrate the use of the design through actual teaching cases. In the process,I hope to open up teaching ideas for subsequent textbook users, find effective ways to teach Chinese, and improve the situation that Estonian students have been learning Chinese for a long time but have not been proficient in Chinese. This article has six chapters. The first chapter is the introduction, which summarizes the reason why I chose this topic, the meaning of the research, the research content and methods of this thesis, and the related research review on "word standard" and "Happy Chinese".The second chapter is the study and analysis of the current situation of Chinese character teaching in Estonia.Through the questionnaire analysis of Estonian Chinese teachers and students,it is found that teachers do not have sufficient knowledge of Chinese character teaching, and students have a poor grasp of Chinese characters, resulting in these students regardless of how long they have studied Chinese is still in its infancy. The third chapter organizes the vocabulary of "Happy Chinese",first finds the core words of each lesson according to the frequency of words and the vocabulary of Chinese proficiency and the outline of Chinese characters. The fourth chapter uses a certain class as a demonstration case to show everyone a lesson-oriented teaching design guided by the "Sinogram-based" theory. In chapter five, through comparison experiments between the control group and the experimental group,it is found that after teaching practice, the Chinese test scores of the experimental group are significantly better than those of the control group, which shows that it really improves the students' Chinese learning effect. The sixth chapter,as the summary of this article, summarizes the research focus, research process and conclusions of this paper, analyzes the deficiencies in the paper, and puts forward questions for further research.
