General Education Maps and Markers : Designing Meaningful Pathways to Student Achievement is an important research achievement of the GEMs,which has strong guiding significance for promoting the comprehensive and efficient implementation of general education.In the thesis,the translator made a translation practice report on the difficulties encountered in translation.In the process of translating the text,the difficulties and key points encountered in the translation were recorded carefully.The translation methods were summarized,analyzed,innovated and perfected by applying some translation strategies.This paper expounds the problems in the lexical translation and the translation of attributive clauses,and makes a careful analysis and summary of the translation examples.Through the writing of this practical report,the principles and guidelines of the general education curriculum can be understood and the problems found in the course of this translation practice can also be payed attention to so that the translation strategies and techniques applied in this paper can be used as reference when encountering similar problems of academic texts in the future.
