Transitional mood adverbs are more complicated in terms of semantics and usage.Therefore,in the teaching Chinese as a foreign language,transitional mood adverbs is difficulty.Chinese learners always find it difficult to accurately understand and master when learning these words,and there are a lot of errors in their use.The Development Chinese published by Beijing Language and Culture University Press is the most commonly textbook for international students when studying Chinese,and the selection of the textbook content is representative.So this article takes the 10 transition mood adverbs that appear in the comprehensive textbook of Development Chinese(Second Edition)as the research object.Through a questionnaire survey,analyses the types of errors and the reasons for the errors.Finally,put forward teaching suggestions based on the survey results.It is hoped that these studies can provide references for the teaching of transitional mood adverbs in teaching Chinese as a foreign language.This article is mainly divided into five parts.The first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the reasons for the topic selection,the research results of transitional mood adverbs,the research objects and thinking.The second part investigates the arrangement of transitional mood adverbs in the comprehensive textbook of Development Chinese from the aspects of number,recurrence rate,interpretation and exercise setting.Through analysis,it is found that there are some problems in the arrangement of transitional mood adverbs in the textbook: first,the interpretation is not accurate enough;second,the recurrence rate is relatively low;third,the amount of exercises is insufficient.The third part investigates the acquisition of transitional mood adverbs by foreign students.Through investigating and analyzing,it summarizes the types of errors.It also analyzes the reasons for the errors from the three aspects of textbook layout,teacher teaching and students individual factors.The fourth part proposes suggestions for transitional mood adverbs teaching.Based on the results of the previous investigation and analysis,suggestions are made mainly from the two aspects of textbook layout and teacher teaching.And a teaching plan design about “qu” and“jing” which are most easily confused in the process of using by foreign students is made.The fifth part is the conclusion,it sorts out and summarizes the writing ideas and research content of the whole article,and points out the deficiencies of this article.
