Language teaching is inseparable from culture.China is the hometown of tea,and tea culture is one of the representative symbols of Chinese traditional culture and an indispensable part of the spread of Chinese culture to the outside world.Appropriate integration of Chinese tea culture teaching in teaching Chinese as a foreign language can help foreign students understand the spiritual connotation of Chinese culture,as well as Chinese ideologies,ways of thinking,and values,and effectively promote cultural learning and cultural exchanges.But at present,the research results of tea culture in teaching Chinese as a foreign language are not rich enough and have not yet become a system.This is inconsistent with the importance of tea culture teaching to foreigners and the learning needs.Based on this,this article first uses an interdisciplinary comprehensive research method,combs the relevant research literature in detail,and fully understands the connotation and spread of Chinese tea culture,the world distribution of tea culture,the characteristics of Chinese and foreign tea cultures and their production,consumption,popularity,differences in modern values,etc.Furthermore,the statistical analysis method is used to analyze the texts of the three sets of foreign Chinese teaching materials with high usage rates at home and abroad,and in-depth investigation of the tea culture elements' textbook layout from the aspects of tea culture content,quantity,frequency,etc.,in order to obtain the selection of tea culture teaching content Enlightenment.In addition,the interview method was used to investigate 5 full-time Chinese teachers and 8 learners to understand the teaching materials,lesson types,teaching content,teaching methods,student satisfaction after class,teacher self-satisfaction,and implementation of tea culture teaching by teachers,difficulties,teaching reflections and suggestions,etc.,as well as understanding students' interest in learning Chinese tea culture,learning needs,learning effects,etc.,in order to better grasp the current situation of foreign tea culture teaching.On this basis,it carried out in-depth reflection,put forward 5 principles,4 teaching strategies and 5 specific suggestions for foreign tea culture teaching,and based on this,the teaching design of tea culture is carried out from the two perspectives of language and culture courses.
