Urban Floating Population Community Participation Research

With the advancement of urbanization in China,the transient population gradually enters the city and becomes an important group which cannot be ignored.It is a very significant method to bring the transient population into the community management.Community participation provides an important way for the transient population to maintain their legitimate rights and interests,and express their demands;besides,it is also the key to the integration of the transient population into the city and the community.Paying attention to and promoting the community participation of transient population can play an important role in solving the problem of transient population,so as to alleviate the social problems faced by transient population after entering the city.This dissertation attempts to carry out a practical research on promoting the community participation of transient population by the method of social work group.The practice research will take the transient population in the D community of Xi'an as the research object.Firstly,the interview method shell be utilized to investigate the participation of the transient population in the community,summarize the community participation and try to analyze the reasons.Secondly,practical methods of group work shall be used to intervene.The goal of the intervention process is to improve the willingness and ability of community participation of the transient population.Finally,through the summary of social work practice,some suggestions are put forward for the community participation of urban transient population.
