The community is an important carrier of social governance.The effect of grassroots community governance directly affects the success of social governance.Since the founding of the People's Republic of China,Chinese urban communities have experienced three stages: community service,community building,and community governance.They have initially formed a pattern of joint construction and joint governance,but there is still a certain distance from the goal of modern community governance.China is in transition,the people Higher demands are placed on community services,and community governance faces challenges.Activating social forces and motivating residents to participate in community governance are key to improving the effectiveness of community governance.The paper is divided into five parts.The first part,the introduction.Including research background and significance,literature review,research methods and innovations.The second part,the definition of relevant concepts and theoretical connotations.Conceptual definition of urban community,urban community governance,and residents' participation,and expounds the connotation of the theory of universal participation,the theory of deliberative democracy,and the theory of networked governance.The third part is the status quo and problems of residents' participation in S community X community governance.This paper discusses the status of residents' participation in S community X community governance,and finds that there are weak residents' participation in community governance,narrow ways for residents to participate in community governance,residents' organizational participation in community governance needs to be improved,and residents' participation in community governance is low..The fourth part is the reason for the residents' participation in the S community X community governance.From the perspective of universal participation,deliberative democracy,and networked governance theory,the causes of the problems are summarized as the lack of residents in the community governance network,the poor channels for residents to participate in community governance,the imperfect community participation system,and urban community governance.There are four aspects to the limitations of the subject's own quality.The fifth part is to solve the countermeasures of residents' participation in S community X community governance.From the four aspects of building a community governance network in which diversified subjects participate,broadening the ways for residents to participate in community governance,strengthening the construction of community participation systems,and comprehensively improving the ability of governance entities,the countermeasures are proposed.The thesis takes the residents' participation in urban community governance as the research object,and uses the methods of universal participation,deliberative democracy and networked governance as tools to use the literature research method,interview method,questionnaire survey method and case analysis method to treat the X community in S city.Residents' participation in the field conducted on-the-spot investigation,found that the residents in X community governance participated in the existing problems,explored the causes of the problems,and put forward effective suggestions,and strive to provide reference for expanding residents' participation.The paper explores ways to expand the participation of residents with a new perspective,which plays an important role in building a harmonious community,improving the effectiveness of community governance,safeguarding public interests,promoting the democratization of modern urban communities,and cultivating modern citizens.
