The Group Work Was Applied To The Research On Spiritual Comfort Of The Elderly In Nursing Institutions

As the most populous country in the world,China's increasingly prominent aging problem can not be ignored,and the pension problem derived from the aging phenomenon is also becoming increasingly prominent.Among the different ways of old-age care,institutional old-age care can greatly alleviate the economic pressure caused by family old-age care and the difficulties of old-age care,and provide adequate living care,medical care,nursing,and rehabilitation services.Affected by the weakening of the social role of the elderly and the lack of emotional sustenance,the spiritual needs of the elderly can easily be ignored.Elderly people in nursing homes not only lack the care of relatives and friends,but also constantly adapt to the lifestyles in nursing homes.Therefore,they need more spiritual care from families,nursing homes,other elders in the care institutions,and all aspects of society.This article based on team working point of work,guided by social support theory and activity theory,this paper analyzes and studies the elderly in Ji'an Q welfare home by combining theory with practice.On the basis of collecting relevant literature,this paper preliminarily understands the basic situation of the elderly in Ji'an Q welfare home by in-depth field investigation and interview,and at the same time makes a more in-depth exploration and arrangement of the spiritual needs of the elderly This paper analyzes the different needs of the elderly in the spiritual comfort level,such as interpersonal communication,emotional support,cultural entertainment,self value pursuit,etc.,and analyzes the reasons for the lack of spiritual comfort of the elderly from the four aspects of the elderly themselves,family,pension institutions and society.Then the author took the group intervention to carry out the practical analysis,established the "we have a common home" elderly activity group,organized7 group activities,carried out the process evaluation and effectiveness evaluation of the group activities,through the evaluation found that the small members have changed significantly,participated in the activities more actively,mental outlook has improved,more optimistic Group activities play a positive role in providing spiritual comfort for the elderly.This study puts forward suggestions and solutions to improve the spiritual comfort of the elderly in pension institutions.The coverage of group activities is limited.In order to further meet the spiritual comfort needs of the elderly in pension institutions,we need to get multi-party support,such as the national government,family,society,organizations,and even the elderly's self support.Only by condensing all these forces together can we better solve the spiritual comfort problems of the elderly.
