Research On The Problems And Countermeasures Of Government Assistance And Protection Of Rural Left-behind Children

Left behind children in rural areas are the product of the accelerated process of urbanization in China.Due to the aggravation of barriers between urban and rural areas,the problem of left behind children has become an important issue of children's education in China.From the perspective of government management,the government has played an important role in the relief and protection of left behind children in rural areas,and has an unshirkable responsibility.Governments at all levels have the obligation to make left behind children in rural areas receive good education and get the protection of physical and mental health.The research on the current situation and problems of the government in the education and protection of left behind children can make the government do further practical work for the rural areas.From the perspective of the government,this paper studies the relief and protection of rural left behind children in Zhucheng.By using the methods of interview and questionnaire survey,we have a comprehensive and systematic understanding of the government services for the relief and protection of rural left behind children in Zhucheng.This paper analyzes the problems existing in the government services for the relief and protection of the left behind children in Zhucheng from the management of the left behind children's families,schools and the whole society in Zhucheng.At present,these problems mainly include: the lack of financial support from the government,the unclear management responsibility of rural left behind children,the lack of understanding of service for left behind children by government personnel,and the lack of attention to mental health education for left behind children.The causes of these problems include: urban and rural economic differences,urban and rural education differences,the complexity of the problem of left behind children,the lack of service consciousness of the government,the backward service concept of the government and so on.This paper puts forward some suggestions for the improvement of the problems existing in the government services for the relief and protection of the left behind children in Zhucheng city and the causes of these problems: the government should establish a correct service concept,make the education and protection of the left behind children have a clear responsibility subject,pay attention to the education of the left behind children and take reasonable measures;The government should further improve the relevant laws and regulations and policies for the protection of left behind children,promote the reform of the education system,increase local financial investment,and effectively protect the rights of left behind children;We should explore the boarding system for left behind children,strive to eliminate the economic differences between urban and rural areas,and influence migrant workers to return home for employment by various means,so as to fundamentally reduce the number of left behind children;Through modern information means to establish left behind children database,establish multi-party information service platform,innovate left behind children management mode,provide new ideas for Zhucheng government to manage left behind children.
