The reform and opening-up has given China a new look and opened up a new world.Changes in the economic structure have also led to changes in the labor force,which have swarmed from rural to urban areas.Although migrant workers in cities eased the demand for labor,they made different problems in society.As these young and middle-aged people work in cities,they have to leave their children in the countryside for the elderly to support them.The number of left-behind children has gradually increased and later developed into a social phenomenon that urgently needs people to pay attention to.Because left-behind children made many issues in education,psychology,society,law and so on.Among these issues,education is crucial and should not be underestimated,for it is related to social stability and the development of the country.On this issue,this paper uses four methods for research and analysis: literature research method,interview method,questionnaire survey method,and the combination of theory and practice.The object of this thesis is left-behind children in Wannian and it is aimed to analyse how well these left-behind children are educated.According to specific research objects,this thesis will make a full investigation first,and analyze the problems remaining in education of these left-behind children based on the results,and think about how to improve them effectively.It is hoped that the measures sought will not only help Wannian left-behind children,but also heip theleft-behind children in other less developed regions to draw lessons and get improved.The theoretical basis of this thesis includes marginalization,education care,and education equity.For this research topic,first the thesis would search and analyze relevant literature,then use a large number of questionnaires and interviews to know the real situation of left-behind children in Wannian,and combine theory with practice to see how the left-behind children in Wannian usually study,whether they are good in mental health,can build a good relationship with the people around them and moral issues.Last this thesis would explore the causes of these problems from the aspects of society,school,family,living environment and children themselves.The analysis results can draw the following conclusions.Due to the low cultural level of migrant workers,their awareness of their children's education and management is very insufficient.These people have a misunderstanding that parents cannot influence the quality of their children's academic performance.Left-behind children who lack parental supervision and discipline are often overly liberal.Whether it is home or school,the two should cooperate fully in order to urge students to develop good study habits and help them learn to manage themselves.The reason why the problem of left-behind children is so difficult to solve is that the environment around the school has not been well managed by the government.There are some places of entertainment around the school,which can easily have a negative impact on students with insufficient self-control and form a bad society phenomenon.Therefore,families,schools,society and the government all have the responsibility to participate in the education of children and jointly create a good atmosphere for them.Based on several issues and causes found from the study,this thesis attempts to provide some practical strategies for the left-behind children in Wannian.The family of left-behind children is very important.Left-behind children often fail to get adequate care because their parents go out to work,and it is easy to form bad habits.In daily life,parents should care more about their children,teach them what right and wrong are,and actively guide their children to participate in school activities.When parents are not around,they should communicate with the child's guardian to control the child's situation.For schools,on the one hand,it is necessary to improve school facilities and provide children with a good learning environment.On the other hand,schools should not only teach children cultural knowledge,but also attach importance to students' mental health growth and strengthen learning and parent cooperation.The society must also pay attention to the education of left-behind children,provide them with a healthy social environment,and let them experience the care and concern of society for them.Left-behind children should learn to control and manage themselves,change bad habits,and be a healthy and positive student.With the joint efforts of these four aspects,the big problem of left-behind children in rural areas will be gradually resolved.
