News Discourse Of Inter-school Ice Hockey League Of Primary And Secondary School Students In Beijing And The Cultural Identity Construction Of Young Athletes

Since the successful bid for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympic Games,the whole country has paid more and more attention to snow-ice sports.Among them,ice hockey,as the only group event with antagonism,is considered as a benchmark reflecting the level of national ice and snow sports.The Inter-school Ice Hockey League of Primary and Secondary School Students in Beijing has gradually become one of the brand events of Beijing Ice Hockey Association since it was held in 2013,covering hundreds of schools and tens of thousands of teenagers,playing an important role in popularizing and promoting ice hockey.With the development of Chinese society,the cultivation of young athletes needs to introduce new mechanisms,and the cultural identity construction of young athletes is different from the previous professional athletes.Therefore,this study takes the news report of the Inter School Ice Hockey League of Primary and Secondary School Students in Beijing as an example to study how the national,urban,school and individual media at different levels and different groups interpret the cultural identity of the young ice hockey players in the process of the top-down communication and development of Chinese ice hockey project,and combined with the latest trend of international youth sports concept,to explore the future of Chinese youth athletes' cultural identity expression and the news reporting direction of youth league.It is found that the cultural identities of young ice hockey players constructed by the national media People's Daily and China Sports Daily,the city level media Beijing Youth Daily,the Beijing Ice Hockey Association journal I Love Ice Hockey,and the school level media official website of Primary School affiliated to Tsinghua University are respectively: the cultural identities of national reserve forces and national competitive forces,the cultural identity of sports talents,city identity,association identity and school identity.It strengthens the sense of national identity,city identity and school identity of young ice hockey players.At the same time,different groups form different identity cognition in the interactive relationship with young ice hockey players.The cultural identity expression of young ice hockey players by participating students,parents of students,school teachers and competition staff who have contact with the Inter-school Ice Hockey League of Primary and Secondary School Students in Beijing is respectively: ice hockey fans who yearn for professional league,sports owners amateur player,team representing school honor and reserve of professional hockey team.The concept of youth sports plays an active role in the construction of youth athletes' cultural identity.By analyzing the development trend of China's youth sports concept and the international youth sports concept,it is found that the pursuit of high quality life-long sports concept is the development direction of the future sports concept."High quality of life" is not only to have a good physical health and physical literacy,but also to embrace a healthy lifestyle with a positive and optimistic attitude towards life and fully realize the value and significance of life."Life-long sports concept" is to hope that young people can develop the habit of physical exercise and last for a lifetime,and that they can independently develop the ability of self-fitness and self-development and promote themselves to be perfect people no matter what environment they are in.In the future report of youth sports league,we should refer to the guidance of life-long sports concept to report,and more media should transfer the frontier youth sports concept to the youth.Under the premise of ensuring their own positioning,we should seek more diversified changes,avoid the situation that young athletes are the same and constructed as the only cultural identity,and pay more attention to the distinctive characteristics and life style of young athletes.Similarly,in the interaction between young athletes and different groups,more diversified cultural identity expression should be taken into account.At the same time of guiding young athletes to choose a healthy lifestyle,we should listen to their voices and encourage them to dare to express themselves.
