A hundred years,education first.With the rapid development of education in China,the construction of sports power has been further promoted.The report of the Nineteenth National Congress of the Communist Party of China puts forward that it is necessary to carry out the national sports extensively,speed up the construction of a strong sports power,and raise the construction of a national fitness and sports power to an unprecedented level.In recent two years,the results of physical health monitoring of primary and middle school students in China show that the physical condition of primary and middle school students in China is still not optimistic,and it is urgent to improve the physical fitness of primary and middle school students.The reasons are the gap between the north and the south,the imbalance between urban and rural development and so on,but there are also the problems of school leaders,teachers and students themselves.School principals,as the top leaders of a school,have an unshirkable responsibility for the quality of students' physical condition,because the school principals pay more attention to physical education than the quality of students' physical fitness,and the impact of the principal's physical behavior on school physical education is also of profound significance,which is the clue of the research on the principal's physical behavior.The investigation and research on the sports behavior of the principal of rural junior middle school in T city is helpful to understand the present situation of the sports behavior of the principal of rural junior middle school in T city,and to put forward corresponding countermeasures to the existing problems,so as to provide a feasible way to promote the development of sports cause in rural junior middle school in T city.By means of literature method,questionnaire method,interview method,observation method and mathematical statistics method,the present situation of sports behavior of principals in rural junior middle schools in T city was investigated and analyzed.The results show:(1)The characteristics of sports behavior of principals of rural junior middle schools in T city are as follows: the concept of not setting an example for teachers and students in the motivation of participation;the duration of sports is 20-40 minutes each time,the choice of sports intensity is medium intensity;the frequency of participation is medium(1-2 times a week and 1-3 times a month);the choice of sports venues ismainly non-paying school sports venues,the selection of venues reflects the characteristics of proximity and convenience;In the choice of sports items,most principals choose fitness walking and jogging,and lack the choice of skilled sports items;participation in sports is mainly in the form of sports with family,friends and sports alone,while only 8 people choose to exercise with teaching staff,accounting for 23.5%.(2)The physical education management behavior of the principals of the rural junior middle schools in T city is characterized by the lack of attention paid by the principals to the construction of the school physical education management institutions and the lack of regard for physical education as an important part of the work plan;the lack of of the principals on school physical education,the lack of strong support for physical education,the lack of contact and approval with physical education teachers in major physical education work,and the lack of interest and trust in physical education teachers in schools.Through the research,the following suggestions are put forward: the headmasters of rural junior middle schools should raise their ideological awareness and put sports on the agenda really;through strengthening training and changing management concepts,they should be supported by teachers and students;improve the existing sports facilities and provide a good sports environment for school educators and students;and suggest that the administrative departments of education organize regular sports events for teaching staff in primary and secondary schools and conduct sports and entertainment competitions suitable for teaching staff,especially principals;It is suggested that the relevant departments take sports as the key assessment content of selecting principals,which can be comprehensively investigated from the aspects of principals' understanding of sports,mastery of sports skills,observation of their own sports situation and attitude towards the health of teachers and students.If the campus sports cause can have a new life,then the education cause will also radiate new vitality.
