The imbalance of gender composition of teachers in elementary education schools has made a negative impact on the daily teaching work,on the quality education of students,and on the construction of team of teacher and so on.In the context of rapid economical and social development,the establishment of a team of teacher with a reasonable gender composition is in line with the requirements of the National Medium-term and Long-term Education Reform and Development Plan,meet the requirements of the Party Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core,and is also the inevitable requirement of the development of the times,the rejuvenation of talents and the realization of the great Chinese Dream of the Chinese nation.This paper analyzes the present situation of gender composition of existing teachers in Longkou City,and deeply analyzes the influence and causes of gender imbalance in teacher team of elementary education schools.There are many reasons for the imbalance in the gender composition of teachers in elementary education schools,including social factors,such as the low social status of teachers' profession,the gender labeling of teachers is female,the low income of teachers,and the low proportion of boys in teacher-training colleges at the source of teachers,etc.There are factors in the way teachers are recruited and also in the school management system.Based on the analysis of the reasons for the imbalance of the gender composition of teachers in elementary education schools,this paper puts forward some solutions for the above reasons.To solve the gender imbalance in the teaching staff of elementary education schools needs the right of women to equal employment to be safeguarded through administrative intervention,including through legislative and regulatory measures;needs the society to change ideas and accept,recognize,respect male teachers;needs the media and network to actively guide the public opinion,increase the dissemination of positive news,and enhance the social status of teachers' profession;needs a greater investment by the financial sector to raise teachers'wage levels and attract men to the teaching profession;needs the organize and personnel departments to change working ideas,innovate working methods to introduce more male teachers;needs schools to pay attention and cooperation to improve the professional recognition and job satisfaction of male teachers,and to retain male teachers in the service.
