Work-related use of information and communication technologies after hours(WICTs for short)has become an inevitable problem for middle school head teachers in family life.At the same time,due to the huge work pressure,there is obvious job burnout in head teachers.One of the negative results of WICTs is to intensify the job burnout of head teachers.This paper starts from WICTs,focuses on the strategy of WICTs to help reduce the level of job burnout of middle school head teachers.This paper aims to explore the relationship between the strategy of WICTs and job burnout and its path to solve the practical problems of head teachers' work.Through questionnaire distribution and statistical analysis of data,the results are as follows:(1)The strategy of WICTs has a significant inverse predictor of job burnout.(2)Recovery experience mediates between the strategy of WICTs and job burnout.(3)Conscientiousness has no significant moderating effect on the relationship between the strategy of WICTs and job burnout.Segmentation supplies can moderate them.The higher segmentation supplies,the stronger negative relationship it has between the strategy of WICTs and job burnout.Based on the above research findings,this paper puts forward some suggestions for the middle school head teachers to effectively manage the use of WICTs and improve the current management practice.Personal level recommendations:(1)Head teachers need to enhance the awareness of actively managing communication technologies;(2)The head teacher obtains the supplement of psychological resources through the means of communication;(3)Adjust the pressure and maintain the quality of family life.School level recommendations:(1)Strictly control the workload of the head teacher;(2)Equipped with network platform student classroom;(3)Identified performance pay with reasonable assessment mechanism;(4)Fully considered social support;(5)Issued reasonable communication content with appropriate means;(6)Paid attention to the diversification of management system.
