As a new text form emerged from PISA,discontinuous text entered the educational field of vision in China in 2009 and attracted extensive attention from many researchers.In the "practical reading and communication" learning task group,the standard of Chinese curriculum for ordinary senior high school(2017 edition)puts forward that"new online styles(including complex discontinuous texts)can be selected for learning".Learning Chinese discontinuous text can help stimulate students’ interest in reading,cultivate students’ reading comprehension ability,improve students’ thinking ability and enhance students’ necessary ability to deal with future life.In recent years,Chinese researchers have made a lot of research achievements in discontinuous text reading teaching,but the majority of front-line teachers still face many problems in discontinuous text reading teaching due to the influence of teaching philosophy,teaching ability,ability to control textbooks,students,parents and so on.Based on this,the paper takes M middle school of Baotou,Inner Mongolia autonomous region as an example,under the guidance of Chinese curriculum standards for ordinary high schools(2017 edition),and adhering to the concept of promoting education by evaluation,carries out a study on the teaching status and strategies of Chinese discontinuous text reading in high school.This study aims to provide teachers and students of M middle school in Baotou with suggestions for reference,so as to gradually solve the problems in the teaching of Chinese discontinuous text reading in the high school,gradually improve teachers’ teaching ability,continuously improve students’ reading ability and Chinese core literacy,and cultivate students’ necessary ability to deal with future life.The paper is divided into six parts,as follows:The first part is the introduction.This paper expounds the reason of the topic,the definition of the discontinuous text and the research status at home and abroad.Has been clear about the research purpose,research significance and the research methods and points out the innovation of this paper.The second part elaborates the types and characteristics of discontinuous text.From the perspective of the cultivation of reading ability,discontinuous text is divided into "information type " and "information operation type".It is concluded that discontinuous text has the characteristics of objectivity,intuition,discontinuity,life and so on.The third part elaborates the theoretical basis and teaching value of Chinese discontinuous text reading teaching,aiming at seeking a strong theoretical basis for this research and exploring the teaching value.The fourth part takes M middle school of Baotou,Inner Mongolia autonomous region as an example,expounds the present situation of Chinese discontinuous text reading teaching in high school and makes attribution analysis.This part and the fifth part are the core contents of this paper.This part adopts questionnaire method and interview method to investigate the teaching situation of discontinuous text reading in high school.Finally,through the analysis of the survey results,the author identified many problems in teaching,such as the shortage of reading resources,the limited teaching ability of teachers,the imperfect teaching evaluation system and so on.And made attribution analysis of these problems from the four aspects of textbooks,students,teachers and parents.In the fifth part,aiming at the above problems,the author puts forward some specific guiding strategies from the perspectives of curriculum,teachers,students and parents,so as to make the teaching of discontinuous text reading in senior high school specific and feasible.The conclusion is a summary and outlook,pointing out the shortcomings of this study and the future research direction.
