With the rapid development of information technology and the rapid popularization of smart phones,people are increasingly relying on mobile apps in activities such as food,clothing,housing,transportation,finance,education,and social activities.Compared with computer application software,mobile phone App has the characteristics of simpler,flexible and portable operation,and the requirements for the equipment are relatively low,which is popular among the public.In this context,educational apps are emerging one after another,and mobile phone apps have been integrated into the learning lives of teachers and students.There are many softwares with geographical discipline characteristics or geographical elements in smart phones,which have the advantages of three-dimensional,intuitive,dynamic and realistic,and can be applied to middle school geography teaching.Therefore,the application research of mobile phone apps in high school natural geography teaching has more Strong practical significance,in line with the trend of education informatization.This article uses the literature research method,questionnaire survey method,case analysis method and experimental method to analyze the application status of mobile phone apps in high school natural geography teaching,the application analysis of three major geographic disciplines mobile phone apps,and the application of mobile phone apps in high school natural geography teaching.Research on strategies,design teaching cases on this basis and put them into practice,use experimental methods to evaluate the effectiveness of teaching cases,and draw the following conclusions:First,the recognition of the application of mobile phone apps in high school natural geography teaching is very high,but the degree of application needs to be improved.At present,most geography teachers and students believe that mobile phone-assisted geography teaching is the future development trend of geography teaching;teachers' information technology literacy and software operation ability are insufficient;most schools restrict the use of mobile phones and cannot achieve mobile interactive teaching,and mobile phones and computers are on the same screen Technology is the key to the application of mobile phone apps in geography teaching;teachers have certain difficulties in using mobile phone apps for geography teaching.For example,classroom operation demonstrations waste time;students' attention in class is easily distracted by software operations rather than knowledge itself.Second,at present,there are many mobile phone apps suitable for high school natural geography teaching,such as TerraTime,Sun Surveyor,Star Chart,Stellarium,Solar Walk2,MeteoEarth,etc.The above apps are mainly suitable for learning astronomy,earth movement and meteorology in high school natural geography teaching.Third,the application of mobile apps in high school natural geography teaching requires the joint efforts of schools and teachers.School-level application strategies include:(1)improving teaching facilities and constructing a good teaching environment;(2)improving teachers' information technology literacy;(3)increasing research on mobile apps and improving the applicability of geography apps.Teacher-level application strategies include:(1)Ingenious use of software to create a living situation;(2)Guide students to operate the software to achieve interactive learning;(3)Teacher-student cooperation to improve efficiency;(4)Moderate use and timely reflection.Fourth,teaching cases of three major types of software,such as earth movement,astronomy and meteorology,are designed.According to the application analysis of the mobile app in high school natural geography teaching,I selected "Noon Sun Height Change Law","Day and Night Length Change Law","Earth's Position in the Universe","Earth's Internal Circle Structure",The teaching content of "Cyclone,Anti-Cyclone and Weather" is designed for teaching,providing reference and help for the first-line geography teachers to use the mobile app.Fifth,the experimental research on the effect evaluation of teaching cases verifies that the application of the geography mobile app to geography teaching has a good teaching effect.The experimental results show that there are significant differences between the experimental class and the control class in academic performance.The application of mobile App is conducive to the cultivation of students' interest in geography learning.The experimental class students' perception of classroom satisfaction,classroom participation and expectation are better than the control class.
