The "Chinese Curriculum Standards for Ordinary Senior High Schools(2017Edition,2020 Revision)"(hereinafter referred to as the "New Curriculum Standards")proposes 18 learning task groups,and puts the whole book reading and discussion learning task groups in the first place.It can be seen that reading the whole book The importance of teaching.The Analects of Confucius is a classic work of traditional Chinese culture.It embodies Confucius’ thoughts on benevolence,righteousness,etiquette,etiquette,etc.,and is an important carrier for contemporary students to learn traditional Chinese culture.In order to make better use of the new teaching materials,S Middle School will take the lead in carrying out the reading teaching practice activities of the whole book of "The Analects of Confucius" in 2021.But unfortunately,this practical teaching lasted only one semester.This paper takes the reading teaching practice of the whole book "The Analects of Confucius" in S middle school as the research object,and investigates the teaching foundation,teaching conditions,and the whole book reading teaching process of "The Analects of Confucius" in S middle school to understand the existing problems,and according to the requirements of the new curriculum standard,Put forward suggestions for improvement,give full play to the teaching value of reading the whole book of "The Analects of Confucius",and hope to provide reference for the same type of exemplary high schools.This thesis is mainly divided into the following four parts.The first is the introduction part.Firstly,the literature method is used to summarize the research status of this topic,determine the research purpose and research significance,sort out the research ideas and clarify the research method.The second part is an overview of the reading teaching of the whole book of The Analects of Confucius.It mainly uses the methods of literature analysis and text analysis to theoretically explain the reading teaching of the whole book of "The Analects of Confucius",and determine the content of the research.The first is to sort out the use of "The Analects of Confucius" as a textbook in various periods,to understand the teaching content and teaching methods of "The Analects of Confucius" in various periods,from the selection and teaching of textbooks in different historical periods,and to sort out the common teaching rules,which will be discussed later.S Middle School provides background knowledge for the teaching of reading the entire book of The Analects.Secondly,according to the teaching tips of the whole book reading and discussion learning task group in the new curriculum standard,the requirements for reading teaching of the whole book of "The Analects of Confucius" are sorted out.Thirdly,the teaching value of reading teaching of the whole book of The Analects is established from the four aspects of Chinese core literacy.Finally,the basis and conditions for the teaching of reading the whole book of The Analects of Confucius are expounded from the three aspects of schools,teachers and students.Clarify the foundation and conditions that schools,teachers,and students have to have to carry out reading teaching of the whole book of "The Analects of Confucius" in S middle school,including the campus cultural environment and Chinese teaching environment of S middle school;teachers’ literacy and teachers’ teaching ability;interests,students’ self-learning ability,etc.The third part is an investigation on the current situation of reading teaching of the whole book "The Analects of Confucius" in S middle school.Through the questionnaire survey,we can understand the current situation of reading teaching of the whole book "The Analects of Confucius" in S middle school last year.In the survey,it was found that teachers and students have the following problems in teaching foundation: First,they are not very interested in reading,and they are not interested in the Analects of Confucius.Second,the interpretation of the text is not in place,and there is no in-depth interpretation.Third,failing to deeply understand the new curriculum standards.In terms of teaching conditions,there are mainly the following problems: First,there is a lack of teaching seminars on reading the entire book of The Analects of Confucius,and there is a slight shortage of teaching and research.Second,there is a lack of reading time,and the teaching task is heavy.The fourth part is the suggestion for improving the reading teaching of the whole book "The Analects of Confucius" in S middle school.In order to solve the problem of reading and teaching the whole book of "The Analects of Confucius" in S middle school,give full play to the teaching value of reading the whole book of "The Analects of Confucius",and improve the core literacy of students,according to the requirements of the new curriculum standard,the author has three aspects: teaching foundation,teaching conditions and teaching methods.make suggestions for improvement.Suggestions for improving teaching basics: Create a reading atmosphere for The Analects;read more and reflect frequently;actively conduct discussions to meet new challenges;suggestions for improving teaching conditions:schools should improve teaching and research conditions;teachers should set a reading example,plan reading time,from the following Enriching teaching methods:stimulating interest through introduction,understanding the full text through first reading,guiding study to conduct special discussions,guiding evaluation and analysis to promote in-depth understanding,and improving evaluation by showing results.
