The age of three to six is a golden period for children's language development,and activities in the language field of kindergartens play an important role in promoting children's language development.Therefore,continuously improving the quality of kindergarten language activities is the key to promoting children's language development.As a novel and effective teaching method,educational drama has been widely recognized by scholars.This study focuses on educational drama and kindergarten language activities.The aim is to provide practical application strategies for the application of educational drama in the teaching activities in kindergarten language field so as to promote the application of educational drama.At the same time,it provides a new teaching method to promote the development of language education in kindergarten.The researchers deeply chose kindergarten L at Xi'an as the research base.All the young children in Sophomore as the research object.A three-month study using the Case Analysis Observation Method.Research shows:Educational drama is in a mixed state in the application of language activities.Its advantages are as follows:First,the establishment of activity goals is based on scientific and reasonable.Second,the content of the event is rich.Third,the organization of the event is reasonable and effective.Fourth,there is a complete understanding of the content of activity evaluation.The shortcomings are as follows:First,the expression of activity goals is confusing.Second,the principle of activity content selection is biased.Third,the level of education and drama strategies used in the implementation of the activities varies.Fourth,the evaluation criteria for the event are one-sided and single.And further analyze the reasons for the shortage from the teachers and kindergartens.Based on the current status of application and the reasons for the deficiency,this study proposes the following.First,strengthen the study of drama knowledge and constantly update educational concepts.Secondly,to optimize the flow of teaching activities and enhance the ability to design drama activities.Third,attach importance to discussions and enhance teachers' ability to evaluate and reflect.Fourth,create an open and inclusive environment and improve the professional level of teachers.
