The revitalization of rural education is an inevitable requirement of rural revitalization.The development of rural school is of great significance to rural and its educational revitalization.The return of rural students plays a positive role in stabilizing rural school students and promoting rural and its educational development.P county of shaanxi province,which has the phenomenon of return of rural students,is selected as the research field.Using the way of empirical research to collect and analyze relevant statistic data,policy text and the record of interview and observation.It tries to clarify the significance of rural school development to rural and its educational revitalization,to summarize the typical characteristics of the return of rural students;to sum up the measures and experiences to promote the return of rural students and school development.Finally,it presents the effect and function of rural students returning to rural and its educational revitalization.The research shows that the development of rural school is of vital significance in stabilizing rural population,enhancing talents attraction,improving the moral and cultural quality of villagers and the level of rural governance,driving the development of rural economy,preserving and inheriting the local culture,improving the problem of rural students loss and school withdrawal caused by urbanization and promoting rural revitalization and urban-rural integration.Return of rural students in P county reflects the flow to central town,which is supplemented by the flow to remote villages.The initial flow is mainly to the remote villages,the middle and late ones are the central towns.The return process coincides with the progress of rural boarding school construction.The return from urban private schools to rural public schools and the policy diversion as parents active return and other typical characteristics.Meanwhile,there are many measures and experiences to promote the return of students and the rural school development,including the implementation of the compulsory education admission policy,the optimization of the layout of urban and rural schools to promote its standard construction,the reform of the school management system to implement the preferential policies for the construction of rural teachers and the promotion of higher education,and the strengthening of supervision mechanism to maintain the justice in education.Finally,the return of rural students plays positive roles in restoring rural parents' confidence in rural education,enhancing the working enthusiasm of rural teachers,improving rural school management level,promoting the effectiveness of rural family education,improving the cultural identity of rural students,promoting the physical and mental health of rural children and reducing the cost of rural family education.It also has effect to the overall revitalization and development of rural economy and culture.
