In recent years,the development of Chinese teaching in Burundi is very rapid,and Chinese learners in Burundi are of young age.There are drawbacks to the traditional teaching methods.Only teaching methods adapted to the characteristics of middle school students can really improve the Chinese teaching efficiency of Burundi middle school and improve the students' Chinese communication ability.Among many teaching methods,situational creation is a good choice.Amid the learning characteristics and realistic conditions of Burundi middle school students,situational creation was applied to the comprehensive Chinese lessons of Burundi Middle School,and physical display,picture display,video playback,simulated scenes,performances,games and other forms of teaching were used to create Chinese environment to improve students' learning interest and learning efficiency.Classroom observations,classroom tests and questionnaires were conducted on students,and it was concluded that the use of situational creation in the comprehensive Chinese lesson of Burundi Middle School is effective,and the students' learning efficiency and passion for learning have improved.However,there are still some shortcomings.We should continue to improve the situational creation method and try to apply it to the Chinese lessons of Burundi middle schools.
