With the increasing popularity of mobile phone clients,the development of reading media has entered the post-paper era,which has a profound impact on people's reading content and reading habits.As an important carrier of inheriting civilization,understanding philosophy and cultivating morality,classical texts are increasingly being impacted by the era of "shallow reading",gradually losing the favor of young students,which has a negative impact on the future of the country and the nation.To study the influence of shallow reading,we must correctly define the concepts of shallow reading and deep reading,and accurately grasp the positive and negative effects of shallow reading.On the one hand,shallow reading stimulates reading interest,broadens the scope of reading,provides a platform for communication,and promotes the development of teenagers' extracurricular reading to a certain extent.On the other hand,shallow reading also has negative effects on middle school students' reading motivation,entertainment,fragmentation of reading content,shallow reading level and impetuous reading habits.From the perspective of the new curriculum standard of Chinese,classical reading is of great significance in Chinese teaching in middle schools.It undertakes the important mission of improving appreciation ability,cultivating spiritual world,shaping literary personality and raising cultural awareness.However,shallow reading has a negative impact on classical Chinese reading in middle schools.It is more difficult to arouse learning motivation,students 'reading habits are not healthy enough,some teachers' reading ability is insufficient,classroom teaching methods need to be innovated urgently,classical reading content still needs to be expanded,which poses a serious challenge to language teachers.To meet the challenge of shallow reading era,we must insist on overall planning and precise measures,stimulate students 'interest in reading,correct students' reading habits,improve classroom teaching methods,expand classical reading content,improve teachers 'reading ability,and guide students to reshape correct reading concept through close cooperation of all aspects of teaching.We are drawing nutrition from the classics and improving them to further enhance the effectiveness and epochality of Chinese teaching in middle schools.
