With the promulgation of the General Senior High School Chinese Curriculum Standard(2017 Edition),the whole book reading teaching has been widely concerned by the educational circles.The new curriculum standard integrates "whole book reading" into the content system of senior high school Chinese curriculum in the form of "learning task group ",which is the return of the essence of reading teaching.The whole task group of the book focuses on allowing students to read through the whole book and construct their own experience and methods of reading the whole book.Cultivate students' Chinese core literacy,first of all,let students love reading,read good books,can read the whole book,become a real reader.So how to guide students to read the whole book is no doubt for most teachers A new challenge.The whole book reading is slowly entering the classroom,and the process of realizing the whole book reading curriculum is very slow.In order to better carry out the whole book reading teaching research,the article carries on the thorough investigation and analysis to the present whole book reading teaching.According to the analysis of the survey results,the article found that the whole book reading teaching process appeared a small quantity of quality,emphasis on form and efficiency,teaching attitude utilitarianism,teaching mode rigid and other phenomena,and these problems in teaching also led to the lack of reading interest,reading state superficial,lack of thinking training and other problems,so that the whole book reading teaching efficiency is low.Reading the whole book is an old thing However,the whole book reading teaching is a new thing,or a lack of mature experience of the field,the need for education colleagues to explore resilience,bold research and prudent promotion.Novel reading teaching is an important part of Chinese teaching in senior high school.The purpose of novel reading teaching is to cultivate students' comprehensive ability of reading,appreciating,performing,commenting,creating and so on.Throughout the development of novel teaching,it is not difficult to find that due to the pressure of class time and college entrance examination,teachers still focus on the needs of the college entrance examination,teaching ideas are old,lack of effective reading guidance methods,reading andwriting combination is not enough.So,how to better practice the new lesson It is the crux of the problem to guide students to study the whole book of novel scientifically and efficiently.Based on the above understanding of the current situation of the whole book reading teaching and novel reading teaching,the author will start from the investigation of the current situation of high school novel teaching in western Guangdong,summarize the existing problems in teaching practice,and then explain the necessity and feasibility of reading teaching the whole book of high school novel.Finally,the author expounds the teaching suggestion of the whole book reading teaching of high school novels in western Guangdong,hoping to provide some guidance and methods for the first-line teachers to whole book reading teaching effectively."The whole book reading" has been incorporated into the content system of the new Chinese teaching material and has become the vane of the Chinese curriculum reform.In the face of this new change in the field of Chinese education,I feel very happy and encouraged,I think more importantly,how to promote the curriculum and normalization of the whole book reading through the curriculum and teaching design,so that students can acquire the power of knowledge from reading,the taste of aesthetics,and the stability and strength of body and mind.
