Mao Zedong once said that if you want to cross a river,you must have a bridge or a boat,otherwise you can't cross the river.Here the "bridge","boat" is aimed for the method,indicating what kind of method is crucial in guiding people's practical activities.In the actual teaching process,some teachers are welcomed by students and have achieved positive teaching response.Some teachers have paid a lot of labor and the teaching effect is average.The appearance of such a difference is closely related to the mastery and application of teaching methods.So what kind of teaching method is effective? What are the factors restricting the effectiveness of teaching methods? These are all issues that must be faced and studied in the teaching of ideological and political theory.Based on this,based on the existing research results,this paper summarizes and analyzes the connotation and improvement of the teaching methods of ideological and political courses in Xinjiang universities,and uses a combination of theoretical analysis and empirical research to explore Xinjiang The teaching methods and improvement of ideological and political courses in universities include the following three aspects:First,an overview of the relevant theories of teaching methods of ideological and political theory courses in Xinjiang colleges and universities,that is,to analyze the meaning,constituent elements,characteristics,functions and improvement basis of the teaching methods of ideological and political theory courses in colleges and universities based on previous research results.In terms of concepts alone,there is no essential difference between "the teaching methods of ideological and political courses in Xinjiang universities" and "teaching methods of ideological and political courses in colleges and universities."
