General Secretary Xi Jinping's important exposition at the national education conference shows that physical education should help students enjoy physical exercise,invigorate health effectively,foster?healthy?personality and?temper?volitional?quality,indicating the direction and quantity of physical education personnel training in the new era.This study aims to show the similarities and differences in personnel training mode between colleges?and?universities in Sichuan province and Taiwan province through the comparison of the relevant contents of the undergraduate curriculum of physical education majors.The study adopts the methods of literature,comparison and expert interview.Taking six colleges and universities in Sichuan province and Taiwan province as the objects of investigation,this paper analyzes the curriculum plan of above six colleges and universities from four aspects.They are the current situation,training objectives,curriculum structure and curriculum content of their curriculum plans.The following conclusions are drawn:1.The current development of physical education is different.The training of physical education professionals in Sichuan province mainly focuses on the training of physical education teachers in primary and secondary schools in various regions.The development is lagged behind,misplaced and contradictory.Meanwhile,the development of physical education in colleges and universities in Taiwan province is in line with the needs of social development.It not only trains physical education teachers,but also sports management,administration and other talents.But there is also the phenomenon of professional imprecise.2.The training objectives of physical education are distinctive.The colleges and universities in Sichuan province emphasize the cultivation of applied?talents in terms of training objectives,which is reflected in the cultivation of students with high ideological and political quality,high cultural literacy and solid professional ability.Meanwhile,the training of physical education professionals in colleges and universities in Taiwan province is targeted,and the description of their training objectives and core competencies is more specific,simpler and clearer,which can accurately describe the future occupation,active position and relevant ability of their trained talents.3.The curriculum structure of physical education is similar.The curriculum structure of physical education majors in colleges and universities in Sichuan province and Taiwan province universities is formulated according to relevant plans,and the design ideas and overall framework are basically the same.However,there are some differences in credit setting and credit proportion.There are more compulsory courses but less elective courses in the colleges and universities in Sichuan province.The compulsory courses have reached more than two-thirds of the total credit proportion.The curriculum distribution in the colleges and universities in Taiwan province is more flexible than that of Sichuan province.4.The contents of physical education courses are different.The content of physical education courses in colleges and universities in both Sichuan province and Taiwan province is setting closely according to the training objectives.The professional education courses are reasonably set up,and some colleges and universities can reasonably carry out compulsory courses according to their characteristics,reflecting the emphasis on the basic knowledge of physical education.In general education courses,the range of courses is wide in colleges and universities in Taiwan province,but is limited in that of Sichuan province,emphasizing the political and ideological quality,but lighting the humanistic quality.Students have few and prescriptive elective courses,which can not meet their diversified development needs.
