With the increasingly fierce social competition,the psychological health problems of college students have become the focus of university education.It is urgent to strengthen the intervention of psychological health of college students and cultivate the mental health of college students.Related research found that physical exercise can play a good role in adjusting the psychological health of college students.Different sports interventions have different effects.Bodybuilding and fitness,as one of the current healthy and fashionable sports,has unique features in enhancing physical fitness,shaping the body,enhancing self-confidence and improving mental health.It is in line with the pursuit of contemporary college students.The needs of health and bodybuilding are favored by college students and develop rapidly in colleges and universities.As an important measure of mental health,physical self-esteem is an important part of overall self-esteem.It is of great significance for people to study the causes and psychological effects of participating in physical exercise.It also plays an important role in individual mental health and improving life satisfaction.This article comprehensively uses the literature information method,questionnaire survey method,experimental method,etc.,taking bodybuilding and fitness as an intervention method,and conducts a 18-week teaching experiment on the research objects to explore the body self-esteem(body self-worth,sports Ability,physical condition,physical attractiveness,and physical fitness),to explore whether bodybuilding and fitness can be used as an effective way to improve college students 'self-esteem,aiming to enrich the theoretical research on the impact of sports on physical self-esteem,and at the same time for more college students to participate In the bodybuilding and fitness exercise,to improve body shape and enhance physical and mental health to provide theoretical basis and practical guidance.The research conclusion is as follows:(1)Bodybuilding exercises can effectively improve college students' physical self-worth(P?0.01).(2)Bodybuilding exercises have a positive effect on improving college students' athletic ability(P?0.01).(3)Bodybuilding exercises have a positive effect on improving the physical condition of college students(P?0.01).(4)Bodybuilding exercises can effectively improve the physical attractiveness of college students(P?0.01).(5)Bodybuilding exercises have a positive effect on improving the physical fitness of college students(P?0.05).(6)Aerobics exercise has no significant effect on the physical condition and physical fitness dimensions of college students,but there are significant differences in the dimensions of physical self-worth,athletic ability,and physical attractiveness(P?0.05),indicating that Improving college students' physical self-worth,athletic ability,and physical attractiveness has positive effects.However,combined with the overall data analysis,the effect of bodybuilding exercises is better than that of aerobics.
