In the information age of Education,information technology courses become more and more important.It is not only to let students master the knowledge of information technology,but also to cultivate their innovation awareness,comprehensive practice and other abilities,so as to achieve comprehensive development.According to the Information Technology curriculum standards for compulsory education,information technology in compulsory education should connect the knowledge in books with students' real life,encourage interdisciplinary activities,encourage students to use the Internet to support subject learning and solve practical problems.Current teachers often use the way of speaking,acting and practicing to teach,single evaluation method and ignore different levels among students which lead to the inability to flexibly apply the subject knowledge to the actual problem-solving process.According to the literature analysis and investigation conclusion,PBL(problem-based Learning)teaching mode can improve the current situation of information technology course,take problems as guidance,let students explore independently in the process of solving problems,deepen the understanding and application of knowledge,and achieve the purpose of cultivating students' problem-solving ability.Guided by the new curriculum standard and based on the literature analysis,this research bases on the information technology course,and puts forward the following assumptions: through PBL teaching mode,students' ability to solve practical problems by using subject knowledge and their academic performance are improved.First of all,this paper investigates the current situation of information technology teaching in the second grade of H Middle School in Kunming,Yunnan Province.After the conclusion was drawn,the research content and method were determined through literature analysis,and PBL teaching mode was designed.The two classes of grade two in the investigated school are divided into the control class and the experimental class,and the in class test results and problem-solving ability of the two classes are measured.The traditional teaching method is used in the control class,and the PBLteaching method is used in the experimental class.Students need to fill in the learning process record form in the experimental process.The teacher collects the in-class test results of the students.After the experiment,the The students' problem-solving ability was measured again,and the average test scores and problem-solving ability of the two classes were analyzed,and a conclusion was drawn.Experimental data show that PBL teaching can improve students problemsolving ability and academic performance to a certain extent,and improve students' participation in the class.In the process of the experiment,it is found that not all the contents are suitable for PBL teaching and students' learning process is difficult to monitor,hoping to improve in the future experiments.In general,this study not only enriches the theoretical research on PBL teaching,but also has far-reaching practical significance for the teachers to improve information technology teaching.
