With the rapid development of China’s economy,China’s status in the international community has improved significantly,which has set off a wave of "Chinese fever" around the world.In recent years,China has been actively committed to the wide spread of Chinese in the world,and has trained a batch of excellent international Chinese teachers."Chinese communication" should not only be the communication of language and words,but also the communication of Chinese culture.Language is the carrier of culture.Chinese culture is profound and has a long history.The international promotion of Chinese should pay more attention to the promotion of Chinese culture.It can be seen that the teaching of Chinese culture plays a very important role in Chinese teaching.As is known to all,is located in the southeast Asia,Cambodia has always maintained a good-neighborly and friendly relations with China,walking on the streets of Cambodia,everywhere is the Chinese characters,the Cambodian people almost everyone can say a few words of Chinese,and even Cambodia’s TV,most of the channels are broadcast in mandarin Chinese program.Thus it can be seen that the position of Chinese in Cambodia is "evident".In addition to China’s efforts to promote Chinese in Cambodia,Cambodia itself is also vigorously promoting Chinese language education.Up to now,there are more than 50 Chinese schools in Cambodia,which are located in phnom penh,the capital,and in all provinces,cities and counties.Unlike Confucius institutes,Chinese schools in Cambodia are mostly founded by Chambers of commerce founded in Cambodia by ethnic Chinese from the south of the country.This is what distinguishes Cambodia from most other countries in promoting Chinese.The Chinese school education in Cambodia has a long history,and has been included in the national education system of Cambodia,and has been constantly improving and developing.In the Chinese education in Cambodia,apart from basic Chinese courses,there are also a variety of chinese-related courses with Chinese as the medium language,among which Chinese culture course is the most important course except Chinese course in Chinese schools.Based on practical needs,the author worked as a one-year Chinese culture teacher in minsheng middle school in phnom penh,Cambodia.This paper takes grade 1 of minsheng middle school in phnom penh,Cambodia as the main teaching object,through the teaching practice of Chinese culture course of this grade,analyzes the teaching effect,discusses the problems found,and finally puts forward Suggestions for improvement.The author hopes that the results obtained in the teaching practice of Chinese culture in this school can bring certain reference value to the teaching of Chinese culture in Cambodia.The first chapter mainly introduces the overall situation of minsheng middle school in phnom penh,Cambodia,including the introduction of the school,the teachers,the curriculum setting,the status of Chinese language in the school,the daily curriculum setting and the school system.In addition,the author also analyzed and summarized the students’ attitude towards learning Chinese culture by means of questionnaire.The second chapter is a systematic analysis of the teaching situation of Chinese culture courses in minsheng middle school in phnom penh,including the selection of teaching materials for culture courses,the content setting of teaching materials for culture courses,and the curriculum setting of three different types of culture courses.In the research of this part,the author found some problems in the textbooks selected by minsheng middle school.The third chapter is mainly based on the practical research results,summarizes some problems in the teaching of Chinese culture in minsheng middle school in phnom penh,Cambodia.Some Suggestions are given to solve the problems such as teachers’ over-dependence on multimedia,teachers’ over-confidence in students’ level,unreasonable selection of textbooks and curriculum,and students’ poor understanding of Chinese culture.In chapter four,based on practice,the author tries to improve the teaching method of Chinese culture in minsheng middle school on the premise of understanding the problems existing in the teaching of Chinese culture in minsheng middle school in phnom penh.Some teaching examples are listed.The significance and effect of this teaching method are expounded.
