As China has entered a new era,the country has vigorously promoted the modernization of education,deepening the reform of all kinds of education towards to modern education with Chinese characteristics and world level.Senior high school education plays an important part in the national education system,and the overall development continues to be good.However,at present,the development of general high school and secondary vocational education in China's high school education is not balanced.In the remote areas of China,especially in the border counties of ethnic areas,where "the old,the young,the border,the mountains and the poor" are concentrated,the development of high school education is very backward.Therefore,from the perspective of making vocational education become an important force to promote the development of education to consider: under the background of the policy support and practice support at home and abroad,how to integrate and develop the general education and vocational education in senior high school to play a joint role;how to promote the development of senior high school education in the most border areas of the country to play the cask effect of the overall education development of the country;how to take the opportunity of integrating of general and vocational education to drive the development of senior high school education in border counties in ethnic areas to build a path of integrating of general and vocational education.The study is devoted to the framework of the two track system of senior high school in China to explore the path of integrating of general and vocational education in senior high school in border counties in ethnic areas.Through the mixed research method,concluding literature research and investigation research,it conducts four stages of research: firstly,by consulting the relevant policy documents and papers,it could find the situation of the integrating of general and vocational education in the senior high school of border counties in ethnic areas;secondly,it takes Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region as an example to carry out field research.It interviews the education department leaders of the border county,local senior high school administrators and teachers,and questionnaires the local senior high school students;thirdly,itcollects the theory and practice experience of senior high school integration at home and abroad,selected five cases of Britain,Japan,Jiangsu province,Wenzhou No.21 middle school,Ningbo Beilun middle school for further analysis;finally,combined with the overall situation of general vocational integration in high school in border counties in ethnic areas,the results of field research and analysis in Guangxi and the selected experience of general vocational integration path in high school at home and abroad,it builds a special general vocational integration path suitable for senior high school in border counties in ethnic areas.The study consists of the following seven parts:The first part is the introduction.It mainly expounds the research background,research purpose,research significance,theoretical basis and research design.The research background originated from the backwardness of senior high school education in border counties in ethnic areas and the important role of integrating of general and vocational education in the development of senior high school education in border counties of ethnic areas.By summarizing the relevant research on senior high school of integrating of general and vocational education at home and abroad,it defines the concepts and determines the theoretical basis.The research adopts the methods of mixed research,case analysis and educational literature,designs the interview outline of general vocational integration,and compiles and tests the questionnaire of general vocational integration students.The second part is about integration of general and vocational education—the exploration of new direction of senior high school education in border counties in ethnic areas.It mainly expounds the significance of carrying out integration of general and vocational education in border counties in ethnic areas,including presenting the basis of policy and the practice in senior high school.Further,analyze the prospect of carrying out integration of general and vocational education in senior high school in border counties of ethnic areas in terms of development direction,development level and development scale.Finally summarize the challenges in training objectives,teaching content and guarantee mechanism faced by border counties of ethnic areas to develop integration of general and vocational education in senior high school.The third part is about the policy and practice —the measures in integration of general and vocational education of the senior high school in the border counties of ethnic areas.From two aspects of policy support and practical measures,it analyzes the policy documents and relevant documents of senior high school in integration of general and vocational education in nine provinces and autonomous regions of Liaoning,Jilin,Heilongjiang,Inner Mongolia,Gansu,Xinjiang,Tibet,Yunnan and Guangxi.It finds that there are few areas concerned about and developed general vocational integration in senior high schools of border ethnic areas,and the forms are single that most of them are comprehensive high school.The fourth part is the investigation and analysis of the current situation of integration of general and vocational education in Guangxi border county.Based on the investigation of A and B border counties in Guangxi,it analyzes the practices of local education bureaus,schools and teachers and their understanding of integrating of general vocational education,as well as the evaluation of local students on local general vocational accommodation.It concludes that integrating of general vocational education in the form of general high school and secondary vocational school in the border county has not been successful.And border county teachers pay attention to the future development of students,agree with the integration of general and vocational education,but it is difficult to take practical action.The current situation of that students in the border county have a greater demand for integrating of general vocational education.The fifth part is about the problems and reasons—the analysis of integration of general and vocational education in the border county of ethnic areas.Based on the understanding of the policy and practice of integration of general and vocational education in border counties in ethnic areas,and the investigation data of two counties in Guangxi,this paper analyzes the problems of integration of general and vocational education in senior high schools in border counties of ethnic areas,which are manifested in the problems of unclear goal orientation,single object and not suitable for students' needs,the lack of teaching materials and the awareness of integration of general and vocational education problems,as well as the lack of top-level design of the promotion scheme and the lack of in-depth cooperation agreement.Through the analysis of the problems,it finds out that the reasons are inadequate understanding of the concept of integration of general and vocational education,complex reform conditions of integration of general and vocational education,neglect of the long-term comprehensive benefits of integration of general and vocational education,lack of systematic plan of integration of general and vocational education,separation from the development needs of students and the lack of characteristic development path.The sixth part is about the experience and enlightenment— the reference of senior high school at home and abroad in integration of general and vocational education.It presents the path of integration of general and vocational education in senior high school in Britain,Japan,Jiangsu,Wenzhou No.21 middle school in Zhejiang and Beilun middle school in Ningbo,and summarizes the highlights of micro or meso level practices of integration of general and vocational education in senior high school at home and abroad.The seventh part is about location and construction —the realization path of the senior high school in integration of general and vocational education in border counties of ethnic areas.Based on the emphasis on effectiveness and the use of existing resources to adapt to localconditions,it carries out integration of general and vocational education program in the border county of ethnic minority areas to focus on the overall development of students and the development of regional characteristics.Then it fixes position on resource policies,training objectives,school running methods,courses,working groups and publicity.Finally,it puts forward some suggestions for the construction of the path of integration of general and vocational education in border counties of ethnic areas from the local education functional departments to the specific implementation of the teacher planning: strengthen the government behavior;attach importance to school behavior;ensure the teacher behavior.Though increasing the operability of the path,clear the task and division of labor at all levels,which is reflected in the basic role of the top-level design of the border county government,the leading role of the border school planning and protection,and the main role of the border teachers in teaching development use.
