A Study On The Supportive Employment Of Social Work Intervening In The Disabled

Based on the results of the second national disability sample published by the government in late 2006,Hunan Province currently has a total of 4.08 million people with disabilities,accounting for 6.44% of the population of the province,of which there are 284,000 people with intellectual disabilities.And Changsha City,there are about 310,000 people with disabilities,mentally disabled people about 21,000 people.Compared to the health and education of persons with disabilities,the more difficult problem for society and the government is to solve the employment problem of persons with disabilities.But because of the degradation of brain function of people with intellectual disabilities,their own personal ability,including independent ability,learning ability,ability to understand and interpersonal skills than the average person less disabled.In addition to the social prejudice and not recognized,resulting in intellectual disabilities in the employment difficult.The author will take the Changsha area as the basis,from the help of the disabled to restore interpersonal skills,the ability to work and the basic ability to learn from the perspective of social workers involved in the support of intellectual disabled employment effectiveness.This paper will use the observation method,interview method and literature collection method and other research methods to investigate the current situation of people with intellectual disabilities in Changsha,the current understanding of the existing problems.And then for the social work involved in the analysis of supportive employment of people with intellectual disabilities,through the current Changsha,the main body of several services to study the social workers involved in mentally retarded support the employment of the necessity and way.Combined with cases and interviews to sum up the role of social workers and the final results,and finally combined with the actual put forward some of their own recommendations.The author divides the article into four parts to study the supportive employment of social workers involved in mentally retarded persons.The first part is the introduction of this article,which mainly includes the background of the research and the significance of the study,including the practical significance and theoretical significance.Domestic and foreign literature review,the definition of research objects and professional theory support.The second part mainly elaborates the present situation of the employment of the mentally retarded people in Changsha area.Including the way,form and characteristics of the employment of people with intellectual disabilities.Social support and non-social support,and the current plight of people with intellectual disabilities.The third part of this article will discuss the current situation of the employment of intellectual disabilities in Changsha,the basic situation,and will be detailed in Changsha,the two representatives of the two representatives from the perspective of the advantages of social workers involved in the employment of intellectual disabilities and social workers involved in the employment of people with intellectual disabilities Bear the role.And will be through a number of cases and interviews to introduce the current employment in Changsha,the process of employment,in addition to different directions from the social work involved in intellectual awareness of the need for employment and the way.The last part is some of the thinking of this article,which affirms the importance and significance of social work to support the employment of people with intellectual disabilities,and through this study will present some views on the current employment of people with intellectual disabilities.
